Congrats Lomi90, we will be landing this weekend to! What border are you landing at?

We will go through Roosville, BC to Montana and back :) they are usually very nice there so I'm not too nervous! Good luck to you and I'll let everyone know how it goes!

Thank you all for all your help and support. I am very happy my husband does not have an interview. You all have been a support. If not this forum, I would have been depressed. Thank you so much to all of you. :) Good luck to all of you !!!

had to submit passport within 30 days. Your application was filed february so you had to be patient. we are december applications. Plus spousal sponsorship is faster so not to worry. Thanks to God - God has been kind to us.

Wonnie, you only have like a month and a half to get into Canada ? Wow they don't give us much time?!?!?!

What if we have plans/obligations that conflict with coming to Canada so soon???

The permanent resident visa/COPR will have the same validity date as the medical examination results, that is, 12 months from the date of the first examination, OR according to the validity of your passport or any accompanying family member's passport, whichever is the earliest.

Wonnie completed medicals on July 15, 2014..... that is why she only has until July 16, 2015 to land.

I have been in Canada since 2013 and am not too worry about crossing border. I am sooo happy that this is almost over! :) Gooood luck to everyone!

Does anyone know what happens if I am in Canada as a tourist and meanwhile they request my passport for the PR in my home country?

Do I have to come back very fast, or we have an option to send the passport in Canada to apply the permanent visa?

Should I still do the "landing" even if I am already there? Pls help :-)

You have the option to send the passport from Canada to the VO in Bucharest, you do not have to go back to hand deliver it to them.

You will still have to "land" even though you are already in Canada. Instead of landing at the airport because you are already here you would just drive to the nearest USA boarder and complete your landing there. It is very quick.

I am also unsure why it says null, I have never heard of that. Maybe you should call and ask.
