By the way, how do i know if its asking for the passport? Because they are requesting additional documents but they did also attach a form called appendix a that says passport request on the bottom of the form? and appendix b for photos, Should my husband include his passport?

Does anyone know why a bunch of us have been moved to the Ottawa office, I can see from the spreadsheet? It says that office is just for inland applications and also why are Mississauga applications processed so much faster? Do only special cases go there?

just noticed some of the forum members' cases in Missi case processing center were done fast, am wondering if it has to do with the visa exempt country or else (maybe like the applicants have UCI# already or the courier because the address will be sent differently by Canada post and other courier)?

From my visa extension example, I'm from a visa exempt country, and on the website CIC is still working on the application on Jan.21st average processing day is 64, but I submitted mine in mid March and got my visa approved in early April, only took about three weeks.
I was on working holidays visa before therefore I already have the UCI number, not sure it may be another reason that my case was processed faster or not.
I really don't get how CIC works, just trying to figure a bit of clue.......
