It's really weird. I cannot login using my own information. Also when I login using my wife info, there only one line for the Permanent Residence application, nothing about Sponsorship Application.
Hi ramin.gh

Check your SA letter for your UCI#. You are given a different number from your wife. Your wife received her's on her AOR notice and you would have received your on your SA letter. They are off by one number. I was doing the same thing, using my husband's (the applicant) UCI # with my info, not realizing that we were given two separate numbers.

Sometimes it takes ecas a few days to update to decision made for SA! mine took about 5 days to show up DM after my SA was received! As for the UCI #s being the same, im not sure the process! I was given a separate one from my husband! I guess each case really is unique

Hey Arvind I also just received SA
isn't there only 1 SA ? Which tells you which immigration office your application will be farwarded to.

My AOR and SA application and UCI number are the same ? Isn't that what it is suppose to be ?

AOR and SA are two different things. The sponsor will recieve SA letter saying the have been approved to sponsor and their file has been forwarded to the appropriate visa office and the applicant will receive AOR stating that their application has been received by CIC on a specific date.

Every case is different. I was given a separate UCI number. I'm the sponsor and when I log into mine with my UCI# I can see my SA application decision and my husbands PR application. When I log in to my husbands ecas with his UCI #, I only see his PR application. Maybe with your second AOR you will receive a separate UCI #.

This wat i received, on March 4 th got an email saying. CIC received my application on DEC 28 on behalf of family member (my wife's name) . That email has my UCI # and a application number. Today i received a pdf saying my sponsorship has been approved and file transferred to my visa office which is Delhi. Online status says its still application received (which iws normal as it take some time for CIC to update)

Both email has same UCI# and application number

I tried checking status with application number with my wife info's and it worked

when i tried checking with UCI# (that i received in emails with my wife's info it didnt work) So what am missing is a separate UCI # for my wife.

One was AOR1 and the other was the SA email. I never received AOR 1! Some people do and some don't! Not every visa office sends AOR! As i have learned from others on this forum! My SA email came with the SA letter attachment. Your wife will receive an email (AOR2) of her own. It will be specifically addressed to her. So for example, if her name is Mary Smith then this is what her email with her UCI# will look like:

Also I should mention, that you have to put in your info and not your wife's if your a using your #UCI provided from your sponsorship letter. When your wife receives her AOR with her UCI # then you can put in her information.

Hey guys,

Finally I logged in to the ecas using my own information. The UCI number that I had was correct but there is two different spell for my family name and for whatever reason they have the second one in their records. So, I've been trying with a wrong family name.

When I login, there is table explaining different stage of status:

----------
Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

Sponsor Advised of Eligibility
We are reviewing your application to make sure you meet the CIC requirements for sponsoring a member of the family class.

CIC Forwards Sponsorship Application to MICC
We will send your sponsorship application to the Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities (MICC). They will send you forms for completion.

Return the completed forms to MICC (some must be signed by the person you are sponsoring), along with the necessary supporting documents and applicable fees.
----------

Does it mean they are not going to give me SA before having the MICI approval? It looks like they have changed their procedure from Nov 2014. If anybody has information about the Quebec procedure, please advise.

Nope, send a copy via e-mail address and keep the original copy they will request you and your spouse can submit in face. You do not want to lose the original copy on mail or in administration mistakes. if the spouse bring it to the office upon request they will stamp and give a proof of receival.
