DECEMBER 2014 - OUTLAND Applicants

I asked about the UCI, the one I received on my S/A is for my husband, the one on the AOR is the one I used with CIC this morning. I also called QC MIDI this morning just to be sure.. In the QC checklist it requests the CIC letter as well as SA approval notification. I told her that they seem to be one in the same. She confirmed that indeed it is the letter they need, so all is good. She said to send it and it would take 25 days at most.

Leaving Wednesday morning to go see my husband.. it's nice to go with some good news

Can you please clarify what MIDI said about the checklist? I received AOR and I sent in the application to Quebec with the AOR letter from CIC. Are we suppose to receive SA first before sending in the application for CSQ?

I received and AOR and another letter that specifically says that I need apply for my QC Certificate and to "include this letter with your QC Undertaking ".. I called CIC and they said yes, submit to QC with that letter. I Called QC and they said yes that is what we need. So I submitted the Kit A, Payment and the letter from CIC. I know that your letter must indicate that you need to submit to QC, not just an AOR. If your not sure, call CIC and QC.. I'm learning as I go along.

Thank you. I dont have any other letter attached maybe because im bringing my husband in ontario.
Just worried bout the updted forms ihope they will not ask me to resubmit.

No you don't need the certificate, only QC residents. As for updated forms, I have no idea. Nobody asked me for any, but it's still early. I wouldn't worry though.. worst case scenario, you send updated forms that's all..

I am a Quebec applicant and received AOR on the 27th of February. The email also says I have to continue with MIDI, I have sent I my application without any copy of SA. I only received AOR.

If you look at the spreadsheet there were 3 people who were asked to resubmit a form. 2 of them were asked to submit a form after they received AOR and 1 person was asked to submit a form before they received AOR.

Were you asked to resubmit a form?

We got AOR before 15 days. So when i will get SA approximately ?

I only have the aor, no forms request yet im just wondering when can i say im safe that they wont ask for any form resubmission...mybe not until i got my sa ehh....manila visa office...

My husband just got an email from CIC just now!! Finally I got my AOR. Yeayyyy!!!! I'll update the spreadsheet tomorrow since it's 1 o'clock in the morning and I have to sleep. I have to change the date they received my application to dec 15th instead of dec 12th.. That's what they wrote in the email.
And now I can sleep..zzz

I was able to check my application status on-line today... For those who have received AOR and/or SA give it a try
