DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hi All,

FSW 2014 December applicant, my documents were received by Canada Sydney office on 23rd Dec 2014.
Since then, no reply so far. I have following questions.

NOC 2172

1. Am I still in the race?
2. If they send the application back, will I get any email from them?
3. How can I enquire about the status of my application?

Whatsoever, no reply at all - just a courier received confirmation from UPS.

Please help.

I received my Medical request on 14/07 but have two questions for which I have mailed CPC Ottawa but would like to get your thoughts too.

1) My spouse had given his medicals last year in September for his work permit .. can that result be used now or does he have to go through medicals again ?

2) I had mailed mine and my spouses Police certification to CPC Sydney, NS in June 2015. Part of the medicals mail also mentions to send the police certification. Is there anyway they can access the mail sent to Nova Scotia office or should we get new police certifications.

I spoke to the CIC phone line but the call wasnt helpful cause the agent dint know anything.

Yes. Need new medicals.

Not sure why you sent PCCs to Sydney office. Post Initial application, all communication should be done directly with VO. Anyway, in an ideal world, the VO should be able to get it from NS office. You can request them for this. How difficult it is going for you to get new PCC. I would suggest to take the easier of these 2 routes.

My opinion for what it's worth:
1. Medicals are valid for one year (that is why you are given one year from date of medicals to land in Canada). So I'd suggest you get new medical tests done anyway, as it will be required by the time you get your visa and do your landing.
2. PCC is also considered valid for one year from date of issue. So if the previous PCC was issued in June, it has been more than a year, and you definitely need to get new ones.

My PER was on 28/03/2015 and AOR on 22/05/2015...NOC is 1212.
Hope they do it fast processing for everyone
