I have a question related to passport validity. My passport is getting expired in May'16, will I be able to/ allowed to travel to Canada if plan to travel in Mar'16 or shall I apply for passport renewal?

Anybody can help/advice?

Mine and Wife's was too expiring next year. CIC sent an email asking for a new passport.

Guys !! finally after nearly 2 years of journey ! Just received MR today an hour back . this is my secnd app which is at warsaw , ndvo app is still stuck for which i am going to withdraw.

Details as below:

Vo: Warsaw
Noc 0015
App date: 24 dec
PER 21 MAr
AOR 20 MAY
MR - 09 july

Medical forms are still awaited. as they said they will send Seperately in 48 hours

Quick question for clarity please.

I had TLU on Friday and seperately a letter from my consultant from CIC asking for final documentation "final stage" before COPR.

Does this mean a decision has been made and I have PPR? The letter clearly takes precedent and I'm fairly comfortable with this news however the system doesn't seem to have updated

You are right, ECAS updates have little Relevance .
However, it is important to know the actual contents of the letter/email your consultant has got.

Is VO asking for more docs, or they are asking for passport.

Hello fellow December applicants.

I seem to have missed to update here.
I got Passport Request from Vienna VO this morning.
They have also asked to pay PR fee, which I have already done.
I will be travelling to Vienna and will get it stamped in person, in first week of August.

Thanks for the prompt response.

It's not for additional documentation - it is a request for passports and photo's for visa issue. Although as a UK citizen I don't need to send passports, just colour photocopies which is good.

Soit seems as if we had the same request on the same date according to your timeline??
