Difficult to add Later It is better to deliver in Canada

But is it.ok.to.land while.pregnant? I.mean won't the officers give me a hard time?

Hi All

I submitted my application on the 17th December, 2014. I am from the UK.

They have acknowledged it and provided me with a File Number.
I have not heard anything else till now.

Reading from the other applicants, it seems a lot of them have had their Med requests through already.

Anyone else in the same position. Any suggestions ?

Well, as long as you are okay to fly from a medical perspective, there should not be a problem.

Some more info here:

If u are from UK, then ur application has been transferred to London visa office, which is very slow in processing due to work load. I m also 3rd December applicant and didn't hear till now. After PER approx 180 or little more days they are taking to start processing, so wait for more 2 months.

Hello everybody,

My wife started a phd program and got a 1 year student visa on her passport (after we had submitted the fsw14 application)

We are dec.2014 applicants (I am the principal applicant).

We have submitted the medicals and are waiting for passport request.

Do you think I should inform visa offica for my wife's studie hasn't required any copies of passports yet, and from the email they only say that we must inform them for a change in family composition, marriage etc. They don't mention anything about other visas on passport or the fact that we can travel to other countries while waiting for the application...

Please advice what to do.

I may have forgotten, but when we all filled the application for PR, was there no question around if we have ever been to Canada or had Canadian VISA.

Anyway, I think it might be a good idea to just inform them that your wife has a valid student VISA.

What I understand is that all other Visas would stand cancelled and nullified the moment you become a permanent resident.

Dont worry buddy. your situation is not alarming yet. As far as slowness is concerned, ppl at London VO are even more slow.

I am confident you will have MR very soon.

What is cse?

It's Case Specific Enquiry. If you think that processing time has surpassed the average processing time of your VO, then you can raise a CSE. The following link should help.

Why was it rejected?

I was short of 1 point as the officer gave me 0 points for my work experience in Canada.
This time I added 5 points from my canadian relatives and mentioned only my work experience from India.
