DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hello Friends
I have been an applicant of FSW2014 whose APP returned due to Overall cap reached. My documents were received by CIC on 31 December. I cant even describe how was my spiritual situation while i got my APP back by Mailman...
Now, I registered for Express Entry Stream but its very confusing and competitive. My score is 355..
Whats your Idea? Is there any chance with the people with 355 point?
Is there any other way to apply for canada immigration except EE?
My NOC is 2232 (mechanical Engineering Technician)

Any help will be appreciated :-X

I am afraid it is going to be really tough getting at invtiation with 355 points.
There are some Provincial Nomination programs running. check them out.
If you are nominated by one of the provinces, you get 600 points.

Hi I re-submitted my application last dec 17 2014 to CIC from Philippines.

Actually I first sent it last august but they returned it since I forgot to sign a specific part in the payment section.
As of now, I haven't received any confirmation from CIC (no acknowledgement receipt or anything) but I haven't received my documents back either. Can someone please tell me what my most likely happened to my application on why I haven't heard anything from them or is there any way to find out?

I you have not been charged, then it is most likely that your application did not make it in time.

Yeah I haven't been charged yet. Isn't the deadline for last year is Dec 31? if so, why haven't they returned my application or what? I read on a fsw website that There might still be a chance unless I received a rejection letter.

How true is this?

Yes, the deadline for FSW was 31st Dec.
Theoritically you are right, your application is not rejected as long as you do not get it back.

But honestly, it has been six months since then. For most people, the credit card was charged within 3 months of application date.

Please call up CIC call center and check.
But I feel it is more likely that your documents are lost somewhere in transit.

we are on the same boat, I received my Per on Feb 19, a few days ago my second line was updated, but no MR

Hi Am NOC1212 also. Received 12/29/14 and no news yet or returned file or even Credit card charging. I receive email last 5/21 that they could not find my file in the database and they asked for waybill/courier receipt. Up to now, no news yet.

but i heard from this thread that 12/29 received app got charged just this week. Keep the faith.

Just to let u know that I am in Vienna visa office and we did the medical examinations on 25 June 2015 (MR on 19 June 2015). Lets keep on waiting for passport request

At any stage they can decide to check something.

Under Vienna VO, an applicant who had medicals done on 22nd got TLU today.
We should hope for an update next week.
