Same here! I thought it was valid for a year!

Police records' validity varies, it is not equal in every country. I know that in some Countries PCC are valid for 6 months. For the application purpose CIC requires that at the time of submitting of application the PCC must not be obtained more that 3 months earlier. If during process PCC expires they probably will ask for an updated one

yes, dec apps are getting MR request ...so u can also expect it anytime now...lets keap our fingers crossed dear...

As long as you are progressing you don't need their SLU.

It is serious need to be addressed soon. What was the content of the mail you received, answer the mail carefully and stick to the information as per FSW forms.
apologize for any misinterpretation in past due to lack of knowledge.

In sha allah, hopefully it should get through, I doubt this is much of a problem, or is it? Should i send them an email? or a hard copy explanation or a CSE? or all of it? and what are the chances of them re-considering an honest misinterpretation?

Iam December 2014 applicant. I received my PER on 21st March. Till now no further updates. I didnt even receive any further mail from CIC regarding my AOR. Furthermore, when i check my application status on CIC website (ECAS), it displays whether the information you have provided is incorrect or we may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. what does this means?

How long do i have to wait to get my AOR?
I have seen on this thread that december 24th applicants have already got their AOR. Infact some of them have started getting their MR. So why sucha delay in my application?

How can i confirm where my file stands?

Please reply anyone? ASAP

Please make sure you enter all the info correctly. Most important is UCI number. Then your family name, your full date of birth in year-month-day format and finally your country of citizenship. You may try different name under family name field if your full name is long and the one used in the application could be any of these.

Mention ur last name the way it's in ur per
Call CIC to find out the VO processing ur application
Some doesn't issue AORs. Colombo and Warsaw does issue AOR but 45-60 days from PER so u need to wait for couple of weeks
