Friends,

I have received AOR (Acknowledgement email) from Colombo visa office although I am based out of India. I have following queries:

1. Has anyone else got AOR from Colombo visa office. If yest then what is your experience with Colombo visa office
2. How much time it will take to get a request for PCC and medical from visa office
3. When I can see 2nd line update in my ECAS

Will appreciate if someone can answer my queries ...

My application too got transferred to Colombo and I've received AOR.

Can't give you any other feedback as yet to experience other steps. However, in my opinion if you have to apply for PCC then start considering it now.

I have a question regarding my application,
My NOC 2145,
application received 4-Dec-14
CC charged 26-Jan-15
PER email 23-Feb-15

Today I called CIC to check the status of my application. In my application,I chose Cairo Visa office as my local visa office, but the service center agent told me that my processing visa office is Ottawa visa office.

I want to know if any one has any experience why this change happened?, and does Ottawa office take long time in processing?

I wish one could share his experience.

I have seen on other forum where somebody with the same VO as your get transfer to Ottawa. All the best

How or Where can I see my ECAS???

Hi All,
I am a Dec 30th applicant. My application got there at 11:27 am. I just called CIC and they said that they have no evidence of my application. I asked if that meant my application was returned and the lady said no. She stated that if it was returned it there would have been a note of the date it was received and the date it was returned. I then asked if it was possible that my application was not processed as yet and she said yes that was possible. She asked that I wait two weeks and then call again.....so I'm waiting :-*

I also had the same experience when i called there. But one more thing said that wait till you receive the official letter. Then i asked that the response could also be positive, she said yes.
