EVEN I APPLIED ON DEC 2. MY DD WAS ENCASHED ON 3 FEB. STILL WAITING FOR PER E-MAIL.

Well I thought I was the only one with a delayed PER, but it turned out to be a whole club. I am a 12 dec app, charged on the 10 of Feb and didn't receive my PER yet. But the question that is killing me is why is it taking so long for some of us to get their PERs while others are going smooth although they have applied after us? Are our applications going under another check? or it got lost in the system? I called them several times and they assured me that everything looks fine and all I need to to do is sit tight and have patience. Anyway, I don have anything in hand except to wait. I hope we all get the good news soon.

i am 3142 dec 31 applicant..got a reply from cic after i emailed them for addendum package last jan20...they told me that they have returned my package because itwas received after the global cap of 25 000 is reached

Did they tell you when was the cap reached?

I am the only applicant with no dependents, well i recieved my PER on the 8th march as told by the CIC agent but the consulatant whom i have hired has not broken the news about it to me yet! Though my ecas reads "IN PROCESS"

Congrat, Try and reach your consultant and tell him that you will appreciate prompt communication from him. Since march 8 and he has not communicated it to you

Since your application is in process, PER will surely come. Every application is unique, no two application is the same, some claim points for relative which might make your PER to be longer for others its WES

I called CIC many times and was always informed by different operators that there was no email sent but everything looks fine and no need to worry. I think my application is going under another review but not sure if my assumption is correct. I thought once I get charged and ECAS is alive then no need to worry but it doesn't seem that way. I keep telling myself If I was rejected they would say it straight and simple so why did it take all this time with no response from them.
What do you think?

Sorry to hear, but don't lose hope as there are still many ways to get PR, register for EE if you haven't already done so.. A returned application is only a delay to the dream and the good thing is that you will have your documents back to apply again as soon as another opportunity comes up.

Call up your consultant and tell him that you have got a confirmation from CIC for the acknowledgement email. Incase he has not received it, he should contact them to send it again.

If you have given your email address in the application, then it is very much possible that ur agent does not even know of it.
This is because all communication from CIC and Visa offices will be coming directly to your email and physical address..

Check if that is the case, if yes then then you will have to inform ur agent everything there is an update.

There maybe delay for some reason , not necessarily negative.
