Did you get your file number?

I got my file number like two weeks ago and only yesterday my bank accepted to tell me that my dd was encashed but they would not tell me when..

That is one of my friends who also sent his app from madrid. From the dhl tracking page says delivered on 30. So lets hope we start seeing more charging done!!

As per received info from bank, feel very happy to announce that my DD has been encashed atlast on 13th march.......Thank God for this and hoping for a positive response ahead.......

My timeline:
Application received: dec 29, 2014
NOC: 1114
DD encashed: March 13, 2015

I wish that my remaining Frds of 29, and especially 30th and 31 get charge soon and proceed for PER.

No I haven't got any file number, did you reach CIC and got the file number?....

Yes i called cic, i asked about my application and the agent gave me my file number..

Follow these steps (they are from an applicant called managersonline on this thread)


Follow the below procedure to call CIC call centre

1. Download Google Hangouts (optional) on your phone if it has an android or an apple OS.

2. Dial CIC (+16139444000). It costs nothing if you are done with option 1.

3. Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).

4. IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.

5. IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.

6. As soon as you get to the agent, just ask for the status of your application. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. Finally ask your UCI# which you will get only once you are charged.

If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent

Thanks, zainab, i really wish that 30 and 31 applicants hear great news soon..
I don't believe that cap was reached, i think if it was, cic would have just announced it so that people would stop calling them which is time consuming for them..

I think that each applicant should call and ask about their application..
