Hey Friend, I don't think people in this forum has got visa already. All of us are Dec. applicants.
I know this waiting is extremely tough.
But try your best to relax yourself.
What I am learning from this is how to concentrate my normal life and work under this stress ;)
Wish you good luck and I believe you will get it!
Buddy, understand that this is Dec applicants, must be someone who still cares to ponder on these forums to provide advice, optimistic yet realistic, you vouch all newbies??

Any 31 Dec Applicants charged yet?

I tried calling cic several times but they keep sayin "we're experiencing high volume of calls", so I'll try again tomorrow...

let us not lose hope until we get our applications returned, until then lets just pray for the best...

my prayers are with my fellow last-minute december applicants, these are the hardest moments for us but we must endure and remain hopeful until we know for sure what's going on over there...

good luck everyone

Well said, my friend!

Keep your faith!

Second call to confirm where is my application. same answer returned on 6th March due to G cap reached. Argued my application was received on 29th Dec @ 9:36 so if G cap is reached why people getting charged even from 30th December or people from 29th December application delivered after 9:36. He said it is first come first served but he dont know about this why people getting charged even for 30th December. Asked me to send email with proof they will investigate into this.
But my big question what type of Game CIC is playing with us....
so heart broken today :'( :'( :'(

+1 to you mate!

I can only echo those words from all awaiting good news. Who knows CIC maybe saying they have reached the cap so people can back off or maybe it's close to reaching the Cap, either way remain hopeful as that's all we have and know that everyone is behind each other

My wife and I feel the same. Completely heart broken. Our application arrived on the 30th (would have been the 29th if not for UPS screwing up). Our NOC was cold too , 4214, so we never imagined this would happen.

We have spent the last 8 months thinking about nothing else but our application and our new life in Canada. Every day checking our ECA status with ICAS ( for 18 weeks!!) , then once our application was delivered we have made plans and talked about nothing else. The last few weeks I was monitoring the forums and charging dates, so I have been checking our credit card and calling them every day to make sure no transactions have been declined.

Then today came...and everything we have felt and been through has come to a head...an end.

There are no words to describe how we feel. We have a plan B, and it doesn't involve Canada, it actually involves us staying in the UK. We can only assume everything happens for a reason. Right now this isn't much comfort, but please think of this before you get too disheartened.

Good luck to you for the future....

I know, it is shocking and disheartening. Did you get to speak with CIC about the status of your application?

Can only hope....
