what's the latest about NOC 3233?
I Applied on Dec. 24, 2014. still waiting for my CC to be charged

In as much as it may look dim for NOC 0112, I will still believe for a positive news for my app. For in this impossibility, my God can change the tide to make it possible for me. In a His report will my soul find rest. I therefore ask NOC 0112 applicants who are panicking to hold on to God, in such faith mountains can move for our sake because with God nothing is impossible. I don't give up easily because my case may be different from others. Even if cap fills up, I will share my good news with forumites if it pleases my God. This is faith speaking for where there us God, there is possibilities. This is what I believe, join me folks in this believe.

Hey Tathy:

No worries. There were a lot of rumours and speculation about 0112 being capped and I got figured the only way to find out definitively was to call CIC. I can only hope that the agent made an error, but when she told me that my app was returned I specifically asked her if it was because the cap was reached and she said yes. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's how I got it.

Signed up for EE but only managed 426 without a job offer, so I'm not sure what will happen.

Nobody can make more than 600 points in EE without a job offer. They made The 4th draw few days ago and The points was about 750. Canada is still sendind ITA's who has JO but someday they will need to invite people without JO, like you. And I don't think this time is too far. In my simple oppinion this could happen in this year as well!!

Make your plan B and go ahead!

Job offer gives you 600 points. More than anything in EE. So maybe if u have 300/400 points (no JO), probably you will be in The game soon.

I think it is important to put things in perspective. While it is true that 1,000 applications were anticipated for receipt per eligible NOC, we should understand that there were 50 eligible NOCs which invariably means that 50,000 applications were expected, out of which 25,000 applicants will be shortlisted.
Drilling down further, if 25,000 applications are to be splitted amongst 50 occupations, it means that each occupation is entitled to 500 PERs. On this strength, there is a great possibility that NOCs can be capped. It is possible that, at this crucial stage, quality of applicant's experience may be a distinguishing factor.

No that is not the fact.
Fact is that till FSWP2014 there wasn't any criteria of quality, it was simply FIFO system to choose candidates. OR you can say first 25000 applications with 67 points or above will be selected. Even though these first 25000 applicants are from only 25 NOCs out of 50NOCs and leaving rest of 25 NOCs with zero applications. For example NOC 3214 had only 10 applications as on 16th December update.

You should be completely patient till 15th of March and even more (I believe because they are slowed down these days) because of having DD mode of payment and because you were in last three days when CIC received piles of applications, appx 600+ applications. Therefore to exhaust all these applications will take time. Specially CIC is just encashing/charging roughly 50 applications per day.

I am waiting now papers and will apply for ee...

Thanks for your appreciation comments, I have just tried to convey whatever best possible information I have accumulated from others as well as the SS of the forum and CIC website. I think that these forums are best example of voluteerism.

Regarding my application yesterday I was in my bank head office to solve the mystery of status of my DD. But since I am based in Doha, where still professionalisim is far tens of years (if not hundreds of years). Bank moved me from one department to other and finally to the SWIFT message department and there they told me that it will take time for them to reconcile with the tansaction log to check the status of DD, so returned back without a valid information. Called yesterday CIC and they confirmed me that both of your applications are under review and they confirmed also that my application is retained and is IN PROCESS and it means you are in the CAP. Secondly CIC has replied few days back to my one email which I have sent them around 65 days ago to attach my new IELTS result (because with new IELTS I was able to secure 24-points). So, they confirmed me three-four days ago that they have received my new IELTS and attached to my application and application is "IN PROCESS". CIC call centre agent also give me this as evidence that if your application was not conisdered in the CAP we would not have attached new IELTS result to your application. May be the arrival of new IELTS result have made CIC officer to re-calculate my points before sending me PER and this is causing delay. One of my friend's Canadian Immigration Consultant has told my friend that my DD is already encashed and bank is undable to trace it. Also he confirmed that my application is IN PROCESS and delay is occured due to new IELTS result attachement and re-calculation of points before transfer of file to VO and before issuing of PER.
