Overall cap being reached is totally wrong.....my friend just got charged 5 minutes ago and his app received date is December 29th, I dont want to steal his thunder as he shall announce it to the group shortly....

There are approximately 600+ applications received for all NOCs during the last three days of FSWP2014 (29th,30th,31st December 2014).

But I am noticing that only one applicant of 29th December is charged???

Where are rest of the applicants? Maybe not available on this forum.

CIC is really creating Panic among applicants. If CAP has been reached I think that they should at least issue a declaration in this regard OR at least let their call centre agents inform this. Just called call centre to ask this question, a male attendent told that they don't have any access to information about CAP !!!

A totally mysterious attitude by CIC!!!!

I just called CIC and I was told by CIC agent that NOC 2172 was capped on 11th December. So, my application has been returned week back.

Application reach date - 11th Dec

Sad but have no other choice will be applying under EE may be

A December 29th CREDIBLE applicant has been charged 5 minutes ago, he shall announce it to the forum shortly that makes it 2 people from December 29th applicants being charged via CC so lets just sit and wait for the charges to come through....

Its really sad to hear that... I am from same NOC ... I have been trying to call them on +1-613-944-4000
+1-888-242-2100 but looks like those are not the number... Could you tell me on which number you called them?

It is for 0112. Call CIC and ask whether the file is with them or returned.

You should immediately call CIC and ask whether the file is with them or returned. If the file is returned they will tell you the reason for it.

I guess 0112 was one of the coldest NOC's and as i remember there were around 250 application processed according to CIC website in mid December.

Hi Kapoor09, I am a 29th Dec applicant for NOC 0112 and I just called CIC now and the helpful lady said that it only shows that my application has been received on 29th. She said that if it had been returned it would also say so on the system, so as at right now, they still have my application. So I hardly think the cap for 0112 or overcall is reached yet as they won't hold on to some apps and let others go.

You could try and give them a call, the lady did say to call back the mid march for further updates. Wish us all Gods favour

I guess 0112 was one of the coldest NOC's and as i remember there were around 250 application processed according to CIC website in mid December.

There is one applicant of 18th December already charged for this NOC. Therefore rest assured that upto 18th December this NOC was not capped. Statistically there is only 0.1% chance that it is capped. But of course it is not impossible. But chances are extremely rare and if has happend it would be really surprising and strange totally against the trend that is being observed by the applicants. Means that all the evidences are in support of "Not capping of this NOC", except this information which CIC call centre conveyed. Whereas during my three calls to CIC they have just told that whether a particular NOC is capped or not they can not tell. But if an application is returned due to cap being reached they only tell the reason of returning the application to the caller and then only you can come to know about capping of a particular NOC.
