After a long waiting I have got PER and is very happy. But now what??????? : What will happen next? What is the process?

Any idea?

What is ur application date and ur noc plz ?!!

usually it takes 90 days to open your file and then encash fees and 3 to 4 weeks to send a positive/negative elgibility mail for your file and assign file number.

Literally after 120 days, you will hear from CIC by means of email.

In first 60 days, they don't even have a electronic record that you have submitted a file.

Its a very slow and age old process

called CIC couple of times n all the get to hear is please wait, last night a nice lady said please check status after 5th March 2015. Seniors please give some opinion. No charging lately all focus is on PER. but what about guys like us.

Its 3 days continuously i am trying to get UCI# but they don't provide it. How do you guys get it?? What should i ask them about? any ideas

just ask for status of your application and you might be lucky like me the agent just gave me my UCI number

I just called CIC
A very polite male with a French accent answered & took down my particulars, then informed me that there was no record with them in the system yet. Listening to the anxiousness in my voice, he added that there's nothing to worry as it just means "your package has not been opened yet!" He asked me to call back after three weeks and then would have some details. On asking for UCI number for a second time, he said that there's no Client ID yet!

My credit card was charged last night, exactly 8 weeks since CIC received my documents. my NOC is 4214. I wanted to update the ss but apparently lost the edit link.

Hi Forumites,

Just an update from my side for 2172 Application Fillled on 15 Dec 2014.

Just now I called CIC seeking the UCI number( I told that I need the UCI number for my express entry profile), the agent told me that they are not allowed to share the UCI number and asked me If he can help me in any other manner. Then i asked for status of my application, the agent asked me few questions to verify my identity and then told that
He can see that there is an application filed by me on 12 Jan under express entry program, but nothing further.

He tried again and then confirmed that they have received my file for NOC 2172( I hadn't shared the NOC till this conversation with him) on 12th Dec( though DHL confirmed the delivery on 15th Dec 2014 at my end). He advised me to reach out to central intake office.

He told me that he will be sharing the contact details via an email to my email id(which again he confirmed from the system)

To summarize, 2172 applications have been opened till 12 Dec(date of my application confirmed by CIC agent, and 15 Dec by DHL) which means 2172 is not capped for sure till 12/15 Dec.

2172 Guys, do call CIC and share what you hear,...
