Dear Friends & Seniors. I m new to this forum. However I have been reading it occasionally.
My NOC CODE 2172.App received at CIC Dec09,2014. DD Fee En-cashed Feb4,2015 as per Bank. Nice CIC rep given UCI.
In ECAS showing as In Process
1)How long will take to receive PER
2)Now i want to change my Employer(One Indian IT to other Indian IT Company), Is it having any effect on PR application in terms of delay or background verification(BCG)?
Quick Reply appreciated, Want to submit papers.

No it will not cause any delay. Just update your VO about this change in status which is change of job, when after PER your application will be sent to your VO.

Hi friends ,

what is the contact no of cio

Dial CIC (+16139444000).
*Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).
*IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.
*IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.
*As soon as you get to the agent, just ask for the UCI#. They do not have any status information for FSW applications. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. After some seconds, you will have your UCI#, if they have started processing your app.
If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent.

Georgore - need your kind and expert review on this

This is totally normal. No need to worry. If you don't hear even after 27th Feb then you should call CIC. Otherwise wait patiently till 27th Feb. Because 30-days after charging or encashing of DD is normal period for issuing of PER.

Guys can some one still get NER ( God Forbid ) if CC charged

Noc : 1212
App recv : 4 dec 2014
CC charged : 27 Jan
PER Email : waiting
CIC status : in process (one line )

99.99% PER gauranteed.
Chances of NER are 0.01%. Very rare.

Re: UCI and Identity card lost

hello,

i have lost my identity card, what will this effect on the application after i receive my PER.
If i have the UCI, how i can benefit from it ( i have it from an application returned 2 months ago). I see all applicants struggling to get it.

2132 is out of reckoning from 9th oct and many applicants have been informed by CIC agents that their apps are being sent back ??? ??? ???

Unfortunately NOC2132 was capped in end of October. Therefore applicants of this NOC should prepare their EE profile. FSWP2014 is not the end of the world. Always be optimistic and you will be surely selected in Express Entry forthcoming draws when the persons without LMIA will start to receive LOI in EE.

Let me share my calling CIC experience
1: Called on 16 FEb : Female Officer - ask when i send application - UPon telling it received CIC sydney on 4th Dec she said wait till 2 march- Asked for UCI she said no information at moment
2: Called on 18 Feb : Female officer- Ask last name , first name , country of Birth and Address- We recevied your application on 4th DEc and its in process- asked for UCI she said at the moment no UCI avialable
3: Called 30 min ago (20 feb ) - Male officer-Ask last name , first name, county of birth ,postal address, contact number and email address- then told it in process cannot say any thing - I asked for UCI and he said please note :)
conclusion : Male officer proves to be coperative

I think that Male or Female these are not brands of CIC, so that you can say that Male-Brand is better then Female-Brand. They are all human beings and "to be nice" is not an attribute of gendre. Sometimes male can be a nice person and sometimes female are co-operative and vice versa.
