Re: UCI and Identity card lost

hello,

i have lost my identity card, what will this effect on the application after i receive my PER.
If i have the UCI, how i can benefit from it ( i have it from an application returned 2 months ago). I see all applicants struggling to get it.

Use ECAS to check your application status if you have already one application pending with CIC,

I am 10 december applicant.My cc was charged on 02/02/2015 and I have uci number of my returned application and its working.ecas start showing that we received your application on 10 december for permanent residency..Is this is signal of PER??

How much more time i need to get golden mail in my inbox.

The agent verified all the details, and said " The good news is, we have received your application, and is under process, you should here from CIC soon."

Date 19th-Feb-2014
The agent asked me my name, date of birth, etc, and said "Sorry, we have not received any such application.
Please contact the courier company, and drop in an email to CIC."

Agents were ladies.

That is strange and wiered attitude on part of CIC call centre agents if they have done this. Because after displaying in the Database of CIC, application can not disappear!!! It must have an status even if God forbid, even if it is returned they will see the status.

No it is not signal of PER.

It is a signal that your "Completeness Check" was successfully passed and CAP of your NOC is not filled.

When you will see "In Process" in your ECAS then it will mean that you will get your PER soon.

Then it means that you deserve congratulations because your PER is ready 99.99% rest 0.01% is just composing of email by PER correspondence department of CIO.

Dial CIC (+16139444000).
*Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).
*IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.
*IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.
*As soon as you get to the agent, just ask for the UCI#. They do not have any status information for FSW applications. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. After some seconds, you will have your UCI#, if they have started processing your app.
If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent.

Hello all, especially George,
Does phoning CIC help speed your application, or just to put your mind at ease?
Due to work hours and time difference I have not been able to speak to CIC for information, they were closed when I phoned.
I have sent an email requesting information 8 days ago and not anticipating a reply for another 30 days or more.
