DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hi friends,

I am a 9th december Applicant from India. My NOC is 2172. If God Forbid, my application is returned then what is the estimated time to get back the package or if it has to be returned, then it would have been in January itself.

My second query is, when should I call my bank to know about my DD status.

Please share your insight.

You can ask your bank as S.S contains DD entries of 10-dec that are already encashed.

What is the exact date of application received and NOC? - Application was received by CIC on 15th Dec 2014 and NOC is 2131 (Civil Engineers)

What do you mean by jan 15th? FSW was no longer applicable to applications reached after 31st dec 2014

I do not think your application will be processed under FSW. They will most likely return your app and ask to file under express entry. Only applications which are received at CIC till 31st Dec are eligible for FSW.

Is NOC 2172 capped? I had my application received there on 18th Dec, but my CC is not charged.

Also could someone before 12th Dec from NOC 2172, who has still not got their CC charged could please call and confirm this with CIC, If the NOC has capped, this would ally many forum members here.

Sorry to hear about your File rejection, I am too 2172 Applicant 15 Dec 2014. I called up CIC yesterday, he CIC agent asked me few questions and told me that they haven't opened my file yet so no status is available.

My friend share the same timeline for same NOC 2172, he also called up CIC and got same response.

From this forum so far we have 3 statuses for 2172 15 Dec applications
1. CC charged for 2172 15 dec( confirmed by hopefullimmigrant), there are only 2 applicants who confirmed this news here(from SS).
2. File not opened yet ( confirmed case of me and my friend ).
3. File rejected (Confirmed by Bhanu)

Its really confusing how CIC is handling the applications.

I called him up on 11 feb ard 7:30-8 PM India time.. and he told it has been reverted back today only with reason as Some docs were missing... Not sure.. will call up and confirm again.. It was Mr. Alex on the line with whom I had word about this...

Please can you make an entry in the SS and also request your friend to make an entry in the SS so that we can get an estimate of Dec 15th Applicants..
This would be really helpful for us to get an approx Dec 15 NOC 2172 count....
