Hello house, please I need more clarification on this 1) if an app is rejected does CIC send a mail immediately before returning it? 2) Or the applicant will have to wait till he receives the application which usually takes weeks.... I will appreciate a response to my queries.. Thanks guys

I guess the CIC is a bit busy with some other stuff, hence the delay in charging. One more point to be noted is that only 25% of the total applicants arregistered on this forum. Hence we should not think charging is slow. Its just that we get updates from only those on this forum.

If your application is rejected, CIC will send you back your application package with a letter explaining the reason why they reject the application. This will be sent via normal post mail and it can take weeks or even months. No immedeate mails sent after rejection.

Hope your questions answered.

Last but not least, December applicants!! don't be worried because if your application has to be returned to you, it would have been already returned to you by now...cos according to our analysis, the completeness check is done for all the December applicants by now and its just that they are charging your CCs these days.

So guys, Keep calm and check your credit cards / DD for encasement :)

Good luck to all of us!!

How do you know that the completeness check is done for all December applicants?
Pls explain.

In the first draw of express entry only few NOCs were selected. So, it means that in Express Entry system they will be conducted draws based on NOCs. Read below official news of the CIC:-

"First round of Express Entry candidates invited to fill labour market needs and contribute to Canada's economic growth

February 2, 2015 - Ottawa -Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander today announced that the first round of top-ranked candidates from Canada's Express Entry system is already helping to fill demonstrated and verifiable gaps in Canada's labour market.

On Saturday, January 31, 779 skilled workers, including professionals in natural and applied sciences, and industrial, electrical and construction trades, were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Each of these candidates declared that they already have a valid job offer or provincial nomination. "

Dear December colleagues,

Like the above post, i notice lot of December applicants who haven't got their CCs charged yet are quite desperate and some of them looks frustated here.

Guys, let me tell you this.

There are only 2 reasons to get your application rejected at the initial stage before the CC get charge.

1.Application is not complete (Applicant haven't provided all the necessary documents according to the checklist)
2.NOC cap is full.

By looking at the trend and after analyzing all the information published in all the treads around, It seems clearly that the completeness check for all the December applicants are done already.

Cap limit for the applications are also checked along with the completeness check.

Therefore if you haven't got your application package returned to you by now....that means you all are in the safe zone and all you got to do is to sit tight and be patient.

Everyone will hear the good news of their CCs charged very soon.....and this will be over by two more weeks maximum.

Till then just keep calm guys.

Good luck for all of us!!!!!
This is not true and please do not give people uncertain/false information which is based on your own deduction, The truth guys is once the application is received the only thing that this lazy failure called CIC is stamping the date on your application that was received on and given a number to be in turn to be further checked for completeness which DOES not happen at the same day simply your application will be put aside, then when the turn comes to be opened and checked for being complete and getting in within the cap limit the charging of fees takes place concurrently with the decision that the application and documents are complete and the cap permits that , If not !! it will be returned to you at that moment which on average is one month and half to 2 month.

Hi OxyM,

Thank you for your insights.

May i know why u think this information is based on my own deduction? These information i put here after going through over 100 threads and clearly reading what the seniors has written here.

And how you know that CIC is lazy? Do u know how many applications they receive for a day?

And most importantly let me know why i told the completeness check is done for all December Applicants is because some of the December applicants (Dec 16 and Dec 23rd) has already received their applications indicating fheir applixations are not complete for different reasons. They had received thier applications somewhere in the third week of January. So its an indication that the completeness checks for the December applications should b over by now.

These informations can be found in other threads on this forum. Please go and read and gather some good amount of information before commenting on other people's answers. We are here to help each other.

I didnt say anywhere that the complete check is done immedeatly after the applications received at CIO. Its taken according to the First In basis.

Being a newbie here, please dont comments on other peoples ideas before learning enough about whats really going on.

You may be showing your lack of knowledge to everyone by comenting like this.

Anyway, if u r a December Applicant, good luck for your application process too.

Hi Seniors,
I'm a bit worried.
WES was taking longer than expected so I sent my complete file including envelope ( envelope had name and address following the FSW guidelines ) to my relative in Toronto and gave her address to WES to deliver my ECA to save time. Due to Xmas rush UPS delayed to deliver my parcel on time even though I have chosen express shipping. It reached in Canada on 24 the Dec & she posted that on the same day. But the courier service placed my envelope (has my name and address ) into a new envelope and it didn't have my name and address on it, had their instead. I went into labour on the same day so I actually couldn't check on it. Found it after I came back from the hospital. Please review my situation and tell me if its going to be a reason to get my file back.
Any one please reply.... I'm very anxious. Your response will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I kindly request everyone that since we are all hopefully professionals with certain number of years working as skilled professional with University degrees or studies at University level, therefore it is expected from everyone of us that even if we criticize, it has to be in a respectable manner.
You can use the words like: - “I have a different opinion…” OR “I do not agree with your point of view...” OR “I think that reality is contrary to what you have pointed out…” OR any other polite, ethical, moral and professional manner of disagreeing, instead of being aggressive and attacking at other as if the other person is intentionally here on this forum to misguide others!!
Come-on guys, let us be mature and follow the code of conduct while discussing on a forum which is dedicated to FSW which is Federal Skilled Worker. Neither out education nor our professionalism should allow this.
