My FSW application was received on December 30th. I'm currently working in Canada on a work visa.

For fee payment, I completed the CC form, and I included my debit card number on the form. Would CIC have problems to withdraw the money because it's debit and not a credit card?

I've used that debit card to pay for things on the Internet as if it were a credit card and I haven't had issues yet.

It seems that since first draw has already been done by CIC, and they have been running a big campaign that they try to finish the process of PR visa for all those who are issued ITA within a period of six months or even less. Therefore it seems that this commitment will of "Six months or less for express entry selected candidates" will be fulfilled at the cost of "delay in processing of FSWP 2014 applications". I hope and pray that my assumption would be wrong and it wouldn't be the case. But we are not hearing any news of charging for 11th Dec and onwards applicants which was supposed to be heard today. But again let us be optimistic and hope for good.

I disagree, like some said, they still have 60 days to submit their material, I highly doubt they are already processing those applications.. we should have their undivided attention for at least another 1-2 weeks.

Only 370-applications as per 16th Dec CIC update, therefore no need to worry about CAP.

I think that certainly CIC will have problem. Because CIC is not an online merchant. Re-verify with bank who issued you this debit card.

At the end of FSWP2014 on 31st December, there were serveral applicants who had completed all of their documents but because of last date being 31st december they could not submit them to CIO. Therefore I am pretty sure and confident with highest degree of certainity that all those around 700+ ITA holders will certainly have most of their documents ready to be submitted to CIO. Therefore as soon as result would have been announced they would have sent their parcels to CIO. Moreover all of those who are selected in this first draw are those candidates who have valid job offer+positive LMIA, therefore again there is a high probability that more then 90% of them were already residing in Canada so again it will facilitate submission of their documents without any delay. But again these are just statiscal speculations, because of no charing by CIO. God knows what they are doing today?

I am afraid you cannot make a payment via a debit card. Only credit card and a Canadian dollar demand draft will be charged.

CIC has their own algorithim to switch from one NOC to other NOC or there may be different staff appointed for each NOC and also at the same time they continue to switch from one NOC to the other. But rest assured if all of applicants who applied for NOC2172 will get charged, they are not going to take FSW to 25000.CAP, so you will be surely in the CAP !!

Hi fellas.....hope u all are fine.

Friends, my application was received at CIO on 9th of dec for NOC 2172, payment mode DD. Still my DD has not been encashed. Few forum friends told me that it might be probably in the second week of feb 2015. However, just out of curiosity I want to know, if someone's application whose app was received on 9th december is rejected or refused, when shall he expect to receive it back (location, India)? And, if his/her application is not received back till date, then shall we consider that his/her application is successfully in?
