Does anyone has idea of how the response would be on dd taken on savings account?because the amount would have been deducted while taking the dd itself

The only way to trace a DD encashment is by calling the bank and asking them to contact the Forex department and giving them the instrument number of the DD to check if it is encashed. Call them up and tell them you want to know the status. They will be able to help you out, I guess it takes a day or so for them to find out.

Wow - finally someone who shares the same NOC code. Our NOC is definitely safe, I've found out from another forum that it's on a painful 17 confirmed with 23 in process (can't remember exact numbers).

I filed quite late 19-12-14 is when it was signed for by Sydney office.

No, I received the information on the same day. Just couldn't get in the forum that time.

I just called the bank call Center.... Dd is not yet encashed.... Hopefully it might take few more days than cc as the dd has to be deposited first and then credited
