I am in similar position, I am however hoping that it is the post marked date that is used to determine it not the date it received. Is there anyway this can be clarified?

Just letting you know that about 3 weeks ago I called CIC and they told me that the consider the date that the application is sent, and not the received date. Of course this may be inaccurate or even wrong, but I just thought I should mention it.

Hi Everyone,

I know most of the forum members are in advance stages of the entire Visa process, but I would like to share an initial update from my side.

My CC was charged today i.e. 8-Jan-2015 at 04:35 AM Indian Standard Time (7-Jan-2015 7:05 PM Nova Scotia Time)

My Timeline-

Initial App Received at CIC : 29-May-2014
Returned/Rejected App : 15-Oct-2014 (dispatched from CIC on 25-Aug-2014)
Re-applied App Received at CIC : 05-Nov-2014
CC Charged : 08-Jan-2015
NOC : 2172

Now the wait for PER begins! THANKS to all forum members for their immense support... God bless us all

Will update spreadsheet in evening as cannot access it from office!

Will there be any chance that after cc charged, you get negative response or you dont heard anything at all from cic.
I am asking this because many of the people in this forum are yet to get PER from cic since more than 6 months.
