Sent my application on 20th December via UPS... It has left Lachine, QC. Dunno if it will make in time. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Also, all my docs were in english so i didnt got them notrized copy. Will it be problem?

Don't be worried, my application left Lachine, QC, Canada at 11:05 AM, December 23rd. Scheduled deliver date was Dec 24th by 3:30 PM but UPS modified that time to End of Day, December 23rd.

My only concern is UPS goes there too late then will there be anybody in the CIC office to receive it? Day after tomorrow is Christmas and I am sure employees will take an early because the next four days are holidays

Hi All,

I have a query, my IELTS exam was held on 13th Dec 2014 and my result will be out on 26th Dec.

I have all the other documents and only IELTS score is pending. I am planning to send the application package on 26th Dec as soon as my IELTS score is out but without original IELTS. Will they consider my application if I send the printout of softcopy of IELTS along with it a letter saying "My original IELTS is on the way and will forward it to CIC as soon as I receive the same".????


Also is it true that we need to notarised the all the copies of required document??

Can you not go to the IELTS center directly on the day your results are out to receive your results personally? This is an option as I did this. Check with your local IELTS center. Also, before choosing any courier go to their website and check the transit times for each of them. In my case FedEx said they would deliver on the 29th by 5 PM, but UPS said they would deliver by 3:30 PM on Wednesday.

If your documents are in English they need not be notarized. PERIOD.

I don't think it will be a problem since they did not mention about notary. But not quite sure about Birth certificate notary. For the safer side, I did notary for all my important documents such as degree, BC, MC, etc.,

Thats neat I checked mine too. It also left Lachine, on 11:05 AM but my delivery time is showing as Dec 24th by 3:30. I guess we wont know until they deliver.

About notrization, there is this one thread i followed.. not allowed to link . I pray to the fluffing gods that it goes well.

Yes, it is the smart way, I wrote exam on Dec 6, 2014 and took score sheet in person Dec 19, 2014. 5pm. I have already prepared all the documents, so I just receive IELTS score sheet from British council office and attach with my package then immediately handover to UPS. However, due to bad weather my package reached today(Dec 23, 2014).
