Hi everyone, a very warm greeting from a new forum member!

I am preparing to send my application in a couple of days and I have a question regarding the generic form. I have been denied US student(F1) visa twice before, should I mention this in the generic form where it asks about visa rejection?

Thanks.

I sent my Application package on 16.12.2014 via DHL under NOC 3112..

Experts what do u think.... how is NOC 3112...i ll make it or not...

This is with regards to 'Schedule 3 Form' where we have to mentione the work exp and respective NOC.

See the thing is the NOC for the current job i am in is full, so now i am filing under another NOC which is still open.

I guess Faizan, Ur not having a tingle of this knowledge. The applicant Irrespective of his or her dependant accompanying or not, Its mandatory to show the funds to CIC . Its clearly stated on the CIC website. Even if the applicant reaches the medical stage, the dependents whether accompanying or not accompanying should do the mandate medical examination.

Example: If you are 3 family members, including you and your spouse and 1 kid,You will have to show funds for a family of 3 regardless of your family is included into the application or not.

I would have repied this answer in a polite way,but for the people who doesnot follow the cic guidelines and just misguides people based on his own knowledge, i give a zero tolerance to them

I know you must have boiled by now by reading my posts. Reality Bites!!!

I hope i correct your knowledge as many people have earlier corrected mine..

Sir,
I dont want to argue with you mister. If I am helping people its not because I will gain personally from it, its because a little while ago when I applied I was also seeking help. I have read the material completely at the CIC website at the time I applied, I did not have enough funds to show for my non accompanying dependents so I asked this question from CIC and their reply for your help I am posting here:

Hello FXXXXX XXX,
The following is the response to your request for assistance (reference #3XXXXX):

According to the information you have provided to us you must declare all family members when applying for a visa and must again declare all family members, whether accompanying or not, prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Only for those dependents accompanying you to Canada, you have to show proof of funds.

Thank You.

If you think this is a war then you win my friend. You may be more knowledgeable than me but I think you should share it by helping people and not waging a knowledge war on those you think have lesser knowledge than you.

I just realised that I sent my application with the outdated application form (IMM0008). I didn't see that there was an updated one for November 2014 and I submitted my form with the June 2014 updated one.

What should I do now being that the time is so late? Will they reject my application for that? I can fedex the correct form but how will they know when they open the first document that I have subsequently submitted the correct application form?

Please help me out here with some advice urgently.

Thanks.

Forms were changed in August first, The changes in August were pretty significant. They changed the classifications of dependents, and it went from 1 or 2 to A and B, or vice versa. The November change was small it's just the Visa office. I'm hoping they won't send back applications just for that one minor change. But my PERSONAL opinion is, it wont be a problem, they will ask you new forms at later stage if you get PER (It has happened with a member of another forum), so hope for best. Best of Luck. :)
I am copying paste the post of a person from another forum, so "some" people might not get that I am spreading wrong information.

August applicants had a similar issue and the form was modified mid August, some got notified and were requested updated forms while others squeaked by with no more required information. Just have it handy and ready to go in the event they ask for it. Good Luck
