hi, I had applied under NOC 1123 for Canada PR (family of 3: myself, husband and child), my application was received by CIC on 12 December 2014, sent by DHL. I have not received any feedback yet, I checked with the bank and my DD amount is not yet deducted, any idea about he delay?

Try calling CIC agent. Sure they will reply whatever is there in their scope.

try calling again today.
CIC asked everyone to wait till 6th of April.
And there was some rumor they had a holiday yesterday.

I have not received any update for my 19Dec App of NOC 2172.

This NOC could not be capped in November because there were stable charges for the dates up to the 10th of December.

There are some returns of Apps received on 15/12 and later.
Also there are several forum members who claimed their charges for 19/12 and even 22/12.

This, and the official CIC statistics (370 apps total, published 19/12, but they say it's mid October data) are only facts which give us belief in positive result...

Noc 1123 was also one of the prefered one and they had received quite number of applications and there is a possibility that cap was filled . However , i would suggest you to call cic and ask the status of your application. You will get to know what happened to your application. Cic is still asking the applicants to wait till mid april and if they dont hear anything then there is a cause to worry. But you call them today and check with them. It is the right time to call them now as it is 9 am and they must not be too busy

Did you check with bank. Is your demand draft encashed.

Thanks a million for your prompt response. I tried yesterday several times to call the CIC but for some reason I couldn't reach them. There is a new automatic reply that states that I have to follow up via website from now on .anyhow, I will do my best today and see if the call can be done.

Kerdek, yesterday was Easter Holiday. That's why u couldn't reach them. But today they are working normally.

There is no cic customer care for India . You have to dial their contact center in Nova Scotia

You can call them back again today as yesterday was a bank holiday in canada.
