PER e-mail recd 29th March 2015.

Dear, your file is Still on CIC? It's so weird. We are at the end of the month and they didn't send your app to your VO??

Try to call them this week and try to get this information again coz it's really strange.

I am also thinking the same because it is really long time and thats the information was given to me by cic

My papers were sent to CIC on 18th Dec, have recieved an email from CIC saying my application has been accepted and they have issued me an application number... is that the PER ?

What is the next step and how much time does it take...

Yes, they do if an email is sent from CIC to you. However they might not be able to tell you whether it was a PER or NER.

Call them up regularly to know your application status.
