the agony for 30.31. dec applicants continues and from my point of view is getting worse everyday...

I know I've said before that the best way to cope with this situation is to hope for the best but prepare for the worst,
but hoping is not going to change the reality of the shortage of beyond 29.dec charging...

all I want is for the cic to finally tell us the truth (by an announcement or by an agent answering the well-known phone number) whether we are definitely out or not and put an end to this misery...

Having spoken to them yesterday I got a lot of ifs..

We cannot look at your application if you havent received a letter from CIC.

You will be charged if your application is complete and if your NOC has not been capped.

So, it is unlikely to see people massively getting charged. But miracles can happen.

Dear Members,

As mentioned in my earlier posts, I applied under two different NOC's as I wasnt sure abt my first application matching 80% duties as listed under applied NOC on HRSDC site. I was confident abt the second app. Now I have received PER for both applications and I want to pull back one.

* Please let me know if it safe to pull back one app after receiving PER. Will LVO redo the NOC check or now its only background and security check from hereon.
* How do I proceed with this request. Do I need to call CIC or send them an email.

You can withdraw the app which you are less confident about.

They will withdraw the app as per your instructions but will not return the fees.

I just called CIC to know the status, they said my application was sent back on 9 february after the Global cap was filled.

My app date was 30th Dec, NOC 0121.

Its over for me now!

Tathy , did your ECAS went live ? I heard from some fourmites that their's went live before per also.

Dude your category is already capped. So no point wasting time on being hopeful. My cousin's 0112 application was sent back on 4 March because of cap. Just because you applied through some A list lawyer doesn't change the reality.

we don't need to generalise issues here. My case is different because I am not your cousin . Why not give your news and allow others to make their choices either to take or leave it. Telling others to give up hope because your cousin app was returned is unfair and not accepted by my kind please.
