December 2014 citizenship applicants!

finally moved to IP on April 29 (AOR received Feb 27). Application was sent from Montreal.

I contend that people that do not report advance to next step or post their waiting in the forum in 4 months should be deleted. Some people just forget about the forum while their case is moving forward, why should we be stuck with stale, inaccurate, and discouraging information ?
The cases are certainly all different, but from the spreadsheets, some of us (coolguysam and Puda, just to name a few) have "established" that the max waiting time from one step to the next is 4 months. Unless RQ comes into play. And I tend to agree with them, as I haven't seen anybody that proves them wrong. Therefore my proposition is clear as follows:

4 months between app received and today without AOR or at least report that they are still waiting ==> Delete from the spreadsheet
4 months between AOR/Received-ecas and today without In Process or at least report that they are still waiting ==> Delete from the spreadsheet (I am at this stage with 2 months in already)
4 months between In Process and today without File transfer or at least report that they are still waiting ==> Delete from the spreadsheet
4 months between File Transfer and today without Test date or at least report that they are still waiting ==> Delete from the spreadsheet
4 months between Test and today without oath date or at least report that they are still waiting ==> Delete from the spreadsheet

That is 20 months of processing, and we expect all ACTIVE Dec. applicants to be done within that time period.

AsianIndian : Kudos to you!! with your standpoint, I for one would definitely welcome to be removed from the December spreadsheet, infact I am granting you the honor of deleting my entry from the December spreadsheet since you have decided to appoint yourself as a policeman for the December spreadsheet. Removing my entry or for that matter anyone else entry from spreadsheet allows you to get useful information as you point out, then by all means remove them all :

Congrats !!! So it took exactly 2 months and 4 days for you to see it in the ecas.
If I go by your timeline, I can estimate to see the same on Friday
However I have seen a fellow Ottawa applicant who waited for 2 months and 15 days to see IP. And then went from IP to transfer in just 2 days. I wish the same for you !

I was telling you the other day that I had seen an Ottawa applicant who waited for 2 months and 15 days to go from Received to In Process. And then went from IP to Transfer in just 2 days, and I was wishing you the same fate And now it has happened ! I am so happy for you ! ;D

It looks like you don't even understand the point of my entire argument at all. I suggest you re-read it.
Why would you be deleted if you are letting us know here that you are still waiting as you are doing right now ?
The DELETE part is for people who disappear completely (spreadsheet-wise and/or forum-wise) for more than 4 months. How do we know that they even are still alive ?

Oh man, you got really soft on this! People didn't spend time on the December spreadsheet so you can one day wake up with the " brilliant idea" of deleting their details from the Excel sheet just because they didn't hit your new goal posts.

At any rate, your stupidest idea ever would have made more sense had it been touted as a precondition to members getting on the Dec.-spreadsheet bandwagon.

You don't even realize that we all are members here and you're not the gatekeeper-- only Campbell Cohen is!!
Hope you get it after so many members have already slammed your "4 month-no activity, deletion " idea.

In February next year you will have accumulated 1095 or 1460 of physical residence in Canada?

My ecas status changed to IP today.

They started processing my application on Apr 30th.

Please remember some of the forum members are silent observers and some people login after few days thus its not good to delete their info from spreadsheet.

I would suggest you to not delete anything from spreadsheet.

I would also encourage all forum members to actively share their timeline and information.

If you will meet the requirements of 4 of 6 years living in Canada, go for it !!!

Remember, when 4/6 rules comes into force then at that point of time intent to reside clause would also be in effect and if Aulakh7 becomes eligible and submits application and then goes back to India and only comes back to attend test/interview then he may have issues because of Intent to Reside clause

It is NOT that I don't understand the point of your entire argument, it is that I do not approve of you to decide who should be on the spreadsheet and who should not ??? . When we joined the December forum we joined with our own free will and did not require to get your approval to participate in this forum and for the same reason if we choose to observe the forum silently than it is our prerogative to do so and we do not need your approval to do either. This applies to you as well because when you joined this forum you did with your own free will .

What you should do is respect the choice of the forum members who decide to silently observe and only report if and when they choose to in the event they have some movement in their case or on the observation they make in the forum. :-X

If you want you can always download the spread sheet and on your copy you may choose to re-sort the entries in whatever manner you choose to to give you the much needed useful information, but the December spread sheet is a public spread sheet with only the moderator of the spread sheet having any control of it.

I hope this puts an end to this childish back and forth responses in relation to deleting members from the spread sheet. :-\
