Friends, I am sooooo happy today :) ;D ;D

I received the long awaited news about my Citizenship ceremony here in Australia. I will be attending the Citizenship ceremony on 21 May 2015 and finally become an Aussie. It took more than 9 years for me to become a Citizen of this wonderful country as i came here as a student.

I will be moving to Canada after that and then the mission(Canadian Citizen) starts. My wife already has her Canadian Citizenship application in process.

All in all it took 4 months for the Citizenship process to be done and dusted here in Australia.

I wish everyone here and my wife a speedy processing for their Citizenship application.

Congrats! So your stats are for your wife then? I am a bit confused now :/

SFD: Stuck at IP as well. Don't worry you are not the only one :)

Guys, can't modify the colors in the spreadsheet now. Can you please allow everybody to change colors? Thanks + If that's ok with you all, I will remove the lines of people that haven't been showing up in the past 4 months.

Last thing, I noticed people with RQ do not have the right color showing. It needs to be in Orange.

Is there a way I could become an admin on this speadsheet? I am kind of tired to see things that I can't modify... Thanks ;)

Hi,

Here is my time line:
- Dec 2nd: Application Sent
- Dec 8th: Application Received
- March 9th: Email received to acknowledge receipt of my application for Canadian Citizenship.
- March 11th: Status online shows "Received" when i check my application status.

And its been "Received" since then..

is my application going in the right track?..
Do i have to worry because its not been changed to "in Process"?
How long after its been marked as "received" they change it to "In Process" ?

Thanks for the help everyone! 8)

here is quick update on my case, once again below is my timeline

application received on December 16, 2014.
application process started on February 19, 2015.
file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on March 11, 2015.
file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on March 30, 2015.

I phoned CIC Call Centre today, they had wrong email .com instead of .ca and wrong last digit my phone number. The agent told me that all documents submitted with the application were accepted and my file was received at the local office on April 2nd and now I have to wait for them to contact me.

Background Check: At what stage is it done/completed? at Sydeny or Local Office?
RQ: Who issue RQ Sydeny or Local Office ?
Surrey Office: Any idea of the processing time? Any one else in Surrey?

Hello,

Received RQ today :'( :'( :'( from Sydney and have been asked to submit documents to Scarborough office.

I had physical presence of 1119 days and my wife had 1139 days. Not sure why was RQ triggered for our application.

Now I am stressed, confused and clueless.

Can all the lovely people please share their experience, information on documents that I should be sending to CIC and wait times on my citizenship application.

Thanks you very much and wish me luck (I need it badly)

I am sorry for you... Do you see it by checking your ecas? Does it say they are requiring additional documents?

My test is over...it went very well...got 18/20 marks.

Not much of interview questions. officer verified my license, health card and Pr card.
Verified for last couple of stamps on passports.

Questions asked were -
Do you have any problems with police?
Explain about my work...

That's it...easy and smooth...

Oath letter will be sent out in 2-4 months.

My ecas is not updated yet, it still has notes from April 7th. Will check it tomorrow to see if there is any additional information.
