My Ecas was updated this morning.
File Transferred to Mississauga office on March 22.
That's 2 days after 'In Process' and 25 days after 'AOR'

Best wishes to everyone.

CONGRATS Shalom1!!
Is yours a family or individual application? We have about the same dates and I am still waiting for mine to me transferred to Mississauga.

What breaks my heart is that in a few days (maybe by the end of next week), anyway before you hit the 120 days (4 months), you are going to receive an AOR for your 1st application. And you'll have put time and effort to put a 2nd application together for nothing.
All the best ! I check your line on the spreadsheet every morning to see if you went green already. We are all rooting for you here !
I want to see our Dec spreadsheet 100% AOR already ! It bothers me to see that we've been stuck at 85% for quite some time now !

Thanks AsianIndian. I hope you have words of prophet. What is disappointing is the answer of CIC´s agents: they said my application is lost, and they don´t know what happened. After hearing them I decided not to take a chance and resubmit again, my 2nd application was received today.

Francorm, I was so sad for you when I heard your story... Hopefully this time will be good. + you had to pay the new fee! I am so sorry for you.

They lost 2 friends applications last year and they realised it after... more than two years! They finally became Canadian in January after almost 4 years...

That´s why I resubmitted again, despite the lost time and extra money

I mailed my Citizenship application on 9th Oct 2014 and travelled out of Canada on 10th Oct 2014. My application was sent back because of the pictures. I resent my application from within Canada on Nov 27th.

The CIC website has

AR: 1st Dec 2014
AOR: 18th Dec 2014
Process Start Dt: 30th Dec 2014
File Transferred to Vancouver Admissions office: 8th Jan 2015

Since then I did not hear anything. But my wifes eCAS status shows "file transferred to Citizenship Vancouver office on January 12, 2015", she got her test date for 8th Apr 2015.

Can anyone please tell me whats the difference between "file transferred to Admissions Office Vs Citizenship office".

Any response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ram

Hi Ram, that's a good point. I noticed that other offices directly show "file transferred to xxx office". While my status is "transferred to the Citizenship Vancouver office". I don't know the difference. But we have a Vancouver thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/vancouver-applicants-t185384.0.html Maybe people there know more about the difference.

Hi All and good luck to everyone.

A very basic question; sorry for my ignorance. I am unable to find a document that tells me the date from which my days towards Citizenship begin count. Which document will tell me that date?

Thank you.

Thank you for your concern PUDA, i check our Ecas multiple times a day and it still shows the sad "Received" status.

Go here and click on "start calculation" blue botton at the bottom. Then fill out all the fields...

I will be celebrating my 120th day since application on Tuesday along with my 4th week of "Received" line. I plan to invite all my friends for a beer for that happy occasion :D

Plus, I didn't think I would have to do this, but next Friday I am pulling our good old trick: I am taking a day off and I will be waiting for the "In Process" line from 7 am -11 pm. All I will do that day is to refresh the window of my eCAS. I will shine my shoes, wear my suit and a matching tie and I will go sit outside the entire day. Unless Asagalen and Yyzhuang advise me otherwise. ;D
