Please don't worry. It will change to In Process soon.
As you can access e-cas it means your application has been accepted.
If you have the photocopy of your application, plz check if the email address mentioned was correct. If yes, sometimes they type incorrect email and that's why AOR email does not arrive. Contact call centre to get AOR, if they can resend. Also check your email spam folder to see if the AOR is there.
If you did not mention email address in your application then you will receive a paper AOR.

CIC agents consistently suggested me to resubmit, and yes I sent an explanatory letter.
its cic's standard statement that the application might have been lost and resubmit it again.

Now there could be few scenarios:

1. They misplaced the application after receiving and cant trace it any further.

2. They haven't started working on your application due to existing pile up of applications and will start working on it soon(i have seen people getting AOR after 4 months, they did resubmit the application again too but the AOR that was received was for the 1st (initial) application that was submitted.

3. They might have returned your application due to something missing (documents, signature etc). If you have photocopy of your existing application, read it thoroughly and check if there is some document you failed to attach or you did not attach the correct document as requested or any signature is missing. CIC returns applications by regular mail thus it can't be tracked. If this is the case and you have resubmitted the same application again, there could be chances of its return again.

Remember: application returned is application never received. They don't enter it into the system(computer) thus CIC can't tell why the application was returned until you receive your returned application and check the letter attached to it for the reason of return. If its lost while being in transit towards your residence then unfortunately, no one can tell why application was returned.

Number#2 is most likely your case.

Good luck!

My application was AOR in the second week of FEBRUARY. I am a December applicant. My file has not been transferred to local office or be In Process.
Can anyone guide please?
It will take few days to few months for changing to In Process and transfer to local office, it all depends upon case to case. Please be patient as patience is the key to success.
Also, sometimes e-cas does not update. I have seen people getting test/oath invites and they did not see any update on e-cas. You can't totally rely on e-cas. Check your physical mails too in future for any correspondence from CIC

Thanks for your lines. So far, I haven´t receive any mail return. Yesterday I filled/signed the application again, and attached new copies of all required documents, new photos. Even I sent it by a different courier. I hope hear from them soon.

What breaks my heart is that in a few days (maybe by the end of next week), anyway before you hit the 120 days (4 months), you are going to receive an AOR for your 1st application. And you'll have put time and effort to put a 2nd application together for nothing.
All the best ! I check your line on the spreadsheet every morning to see if you went green already. We are all rooting for you here !
I want to see our Dec spreadsheet 100% AOR already ! It bothers me to see that we've been stuck at 85% for quite some time now !

Thanks thecoolguysam for the reply. I saw your app timeline. You're lucky because your app was transferred in just 2 months.
