lol the two slowest local office(edmonton,calgary) seems to be catching up
Hopefully we edmonton,calgary applicants won't stuck in " File transferred!" :'(

OMG.. That is really good news for you Edmonton, Calgary friends.. Congrats. Hope our status also changes faster. I think there are too many applications to be processed for Brampton Toronto... Maybe that is why we are still only "Received". :-[ It is a month since receipt of AOR. Good luck to all of us.

Today the status has changed to "In process". The link to that has still to be updated. But I am glad that the status has changed. So the timeline for my status to change to "In process" from "Received" was 31 days. Good luck to all. So I guess, more updates of status are coming up ...... Thanks

Not sure the steps involved with the processing and transferring of the file to the local office. Looks like it all depends upon the efficiency of the officer looking into the file

My status still shows as Received for the last 2 weeks.

Hopefully it will make some progress before the start of Spring.

For steps 1 and 2, you see "Received". Once they started processing your files, the status will change to "In Process". After file transfer, it's still "In Process". I initially thought I had no change, but once I clicked "In Process" yesterday, I saw line 4 appeared.

I don't worry about it . I have my own timeline when I reasonably expect certain things happening with my application. For instance, I expect to see my file transfered by April 1st. If that doesn't happen I will call CIC thereafter. So I still have more than 2 weeks of cool-attitude ahead of me ;D ;D ;D
