my couzin(not citizen) also received an election letter.

Well, those letters mean NOTHING unless someone is a citizen but not yet on the "voter register." Elections Canada is just prospecting for new would-be voters. No citizenship, no vote. That's it.
Just my 2 cents.

Byateman,

We received the letter as well. I will suggest sending it after you get your Citizenship Certificate. That is what I will do.

Cheers,

SFD

I think there is a deadline to reply till April 10th 2015. If you become citizen before that then reply that you are a citizen and if citizenship is acquired after that date then reply that you are not a citizen yet

Well, if you have already consented to Elections Canada information on your application, then no need to worry about the letter. It will be taken care of by CIC. Anyeays, you can always do it online once you become a citizen.

anyone anything? ::)

Nothing on my end. Hopefully a few people from this forum will see some change in their eCAS by midnight as eCAS are USUALLY (not uniquely though) updated on Tuesdays...

Looks like the main office doesn't feel transferring files at this time :'(

Hi friends,

I am new to this forum. Read through the posts and was relieved that friends are so helpful with information. We send our application (for family of 4) in December 2014, from Brampton . The update on eCAS is

Application recd at CIC : December 4, 2014
AOR : February 11, 2015

There appears to be no movement since then. Waiting for some info. from CIC.

Thanks and best regards.

We are on the same boat. Only 2 steps in the eCAS. I will call them on April 1st if I don't have "In Process + File transfer" by then. And I will call them again on June 1st if I don't have a test date by then. And then call them again on Sept. 1st if I don't have an oath date by then.
I was getting ready to call them as soon as I had reached 90 days without AOR. But luckily, the AOR came in at Day 88, so my calling them was averted (by 2 days) :D
As you can see, I have my own timeline when I reasonably expect to see certain things happen with my application, and I will keep calling them otherwise. Hopefully my calls will be averted just as in the AOR step. It makes my waiting a lot easier ;D ;D ;D . Finger crossed !

Hi all

Any idea how many days it takes to receive the booklet Discover Canada after the AOR?

Thanks

I don't think they send hard copies anymore. You can order one online for free http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/index.asp#ordering It only takes a couple weeks for it to arrive in mail.
