my application was received by CIC on Dec 17,2014 and was send me back on jan 09 ,2015 issue on passport Photo copy, ( with additional $230 I send back on Jan 23,2015.Got AOR today Mar 3,2015 by email.

By the way guys, when it says in process, does it mean that the application was sent to the local office or, it i beeing processed in Sydney until you get notified that the application is transferred?

It is still in Sydney until you receive the further message in ecas that your file was transferred to local office.

Dec 15th - Mailed Application
Dec 17th - CIC said We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 17, 2014.
Feb 22nd - We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 22, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery

I am in Calgary AB. That's it for now...

Good question. It would be because I actually live in Abbotsford, BC; therefore the local office is SURREY, it would be closer.
Probably the same office for other cities in the Fraser Valley which aren't part of the Vancouver Metropolitan area.

I think this is the all time record ! I mean, I have seen 28 days, but 13 days ??? ! Good news. I have a hunch that some Dec applicants will take their oath before May. who's taking the bets ?
