CIC received my application on Dec 30 and now I saw a lot people sent out the application after Oct 20 got returned due to cap reached 8000. I'm still waiting for them to return my application just wondering if i can send a new application through Express Entry first even i haven't received my application.

Yes, you can submit EE profile and if you get invited, you can send a new CEC application even if you haven't received your old application back.

Hi All,

I got my application retruned back yesterday March 25th. It was sent to Sydney office on Dec10th 2014 and received by them on Dec 11th.

Thanks

Application Sent: Dec 20th 2014
Date Delivered : December 30th 2014
Category: CEC
NOC code: 2171
Payment: CC
VO: CIO, Sydney NS

IELTS: Submitted with file.

Good to understand/collate something to know which NOC Codes are being pushed back and what is the scope for remaining NOC's.
I've so far seen 2 folks here applied via 2171 and not receiving letters which still gives me some hope. Fingers crossed!

Cheers and Good Luck!

Hi abhilaksh, gc_007

From where you both are getting this information of CAPPED ?
What is the source of this information??

In CEC 217* is NOC-A which is not listed in capping.

See website :
:: Total applications received towards the overall cap: 4,537 / 8,000 (Date Modified: 2014-11-26)

Are you sure you are taking about CEC Category?

Guys, the above link automatically redirects to cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index. asp. (unable to post links)
Please may I know from where did you get the cap filled numbers?

Appreciate your assistance!

Cheers.

Guys, Give me CIC customer care number , i want to ask them about my submission package as I still didn;t received it back.

After PER on 3/3/2015 , yesterday I got one similar email stating that we received your file and all details in it - like UCI, App # and all - but it was from Warsaw Poland -
- Does it mean my VO is Warsaw & not NDVO?
- Is it an AOR?
- If it is AOR - when will I get MR & PPR?

Please advise...
