Your application won't get "rejected". But it will not be accepted either. It will be returned to you and not processed. Just wait for Express Entry. It may actually be a better choice for you. I sent mine just as a backup, but my main strategy is Express Entry. Best of Luck.

I'm really worried about Express Entry... Would they really reject my application if I send it on December 30??

Fedex can't get it delivered by Dec 31! :-(

Jan 2, 5 at best.

In worst case, they will not accept your application but there is no loss in giving a try, you will just loose courier charges. Make sure that you have labels so that they can return your documents in case they dont accept it.

Need not worry. As long as your package reaches before 31st December 2014 you are safe. Just pray you fall within the 8000 cap . I have a confusion that 4,537 / 8,000(count till 26-11-2014) is the number of AOR issued or the number of applications received till date. If it is the "number of applications" you would definitely fall in the cap .

What rate is "this rate"?
Fyi, as of 26-11-2014, AORs were issued for applications received at CIO before mid-August.

That is what I was trying to say. Currently people who filed their application in August are receiving their AORs . It started in May and in 4 months it crossed half way mark :-[ . Clarity is needed if they counting the AOR or the applications received.
