Hey guys please I need urgent advice.. My birth certificate is in German, majority of it at least.. I do not have a German citizenship neither did I list deutsch
as a language in any of the forms but I was born there hence the birth certificate, do I need to send a signed noterised copy or translation ??? or any other supporting documents? I did not live in Germany for long after that and so I have no ties to the country other than birth.. Please what do you guys advice?! Urgent replies needed, I want to send out my application tomorrow!!!

All documents which are not in English or French you need to send a certified translation with a copy of the original attached.

The receiver has requested that we hold this package for a future delivery date / Delivery will be rescheduled.

Now its been rescheduled for Next Monday. Now we are worried that if UPS can deliver it on Monday or not and if CIC accept our application as a 2014 and not 2015! Any idea or advice?

CIC will accept applications until 31st of December, 2014. It is most likely that your application will be returned If your application gets there beyond this date.

I would suggest you wait until you receive AOR in order to use the file number - it would be easier for CIC to locate your file. I am not sure if there is any other way of changing address without file#. Better still you can register for mail forwarding with Canada post if you are afraid of missing anything from CIC.
