Ours is being processed at CPP-Ottawa and has shown "Application Received" for over two months now... we just assumed it's waiting in queue. Should we be calling them in case there's something wrong, or is this to be expected?

I would advise you not to call as it is within the normal processing time. It would show "Application Received" until there's movement in the application or it could simply go straight to DM which I predict won't happen anytime soon (our best bet is sometime between June to August).

Thanks Millertimez!!

I wonder which one of us will go into process first at Ottawa!! you know how random this all can be. I think once that happens, it will give some renewed energy to all the others :)

Let's hope it's sooner than we think!

Today has changed to "Decision Made"!

You sent your application in December and they already made decision. Any idea why yours is so fast? Where did your application go to?

based on the activity (timelines) in the July 2013 threads, we probably won't hear anything until the Passport request. That's probably going to be in August 2014.

Hi All,

Just an update, I got AOR and ADR from Abu Dhabi Visa Office on 08-04-2014.

Thanks!

Yay!!! What other documents did they ask you for if you don't mind saying?

Absolutely not Patience! ;)

They asked for the following:

- Proof that PR sponsor is currently residing in Canada, that is, Canadian tax documents (Notice of Assessment, T1 & T4), 3 recent pay stubs and other document which proves that sponsor is living in Canada.

- Complete copies of all pages of all passports held by the sponsor since 2010.

Well that's great :) Good that there is some kind of communication. I wonder how long it will take to get 'in process'? Do you know what kind of timeline you've been seeing with other people from Abu Dhabi?

I'm March applicant and my ECAS says "Medical results have been recieved". Does that mean my application is at the destination Visa Office?

I posted this question in the March tread but no response there. And since you folks have gone through this before us, I figured you may have an answer.

Hi O guy,

it means that they matched your medicals with your application in your VO. Congrats!

Patience09, before I start jumping up and down with joy, I'm wondering if CPC-M has a way to do this type of matching. If CPC-M doesn't have a way to do this matching, then I would know for sure that the application ALREADY reached the VO.

Hmmm good point. I probably shouldn't make assumptions, but most people got medicals received together with SA or after they got SA. So I guess it could very well be CPC-M matching it up. Someone will probably correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess the sure way of knowing your application is at the VO is if you get an AOR.

Unfortunately, the Manila VO doesn't give AOR according to many people on this forum. But you did tell me something that answers my question when you said people get Medical received with SA. Since the SA comes from CPC-M, it appears that they also do the matching for the medical.
