Thankyou, i applied online for an extention on my visitors permit within a month of expiration so got that done!!! Now i am waiting to get my medical done at the end of the month and i think i am going to apply from outside of Canada. Thanks so much

I'm from the US and AOR was dec 18, 2013 transferred to CIP feb 5, 2014 and when I check the status it says application received but when I called they said it's in process...I just hate not seeing the update as in process. Is there someone here who have the same experience as mine? The wait is just stressing me out:-(

Hi there.. is CIP the Ottawa visa office? Also.. which number did you call to check the process?

Ours is being processed at CPP-Ottawa and has shown "Application Received" for over two months now... we just assumed it's waiting in queue. Should we be calling them in case there's something wrong, or is this to be expected?
