So........I would like to lighten the mood a bit!! LOL

Positive thinking = positive results..... ;D ;)

Do you and your significant other do any special things together to keep the fire burning during this long distance relationship?

As for hubby and I...we send each other love letters :) My husband just received the one I sent him a few weeks ago!! So exciting ;D

Positive thinking, positive thinking...Interesting topic CanadianWifey.

My wife and I talk on the phone for over an one hour each day. From time to time, we select a movie to watch on Netflix at the same time (it feels like we are together). Now, only if I can get her not to select romantic movies every single time. It sure does make the whole long distance thing less of a burden on both of us.

Love letters sound much more romantic than what we have going :P.

I second that....
We have our second marriage anniversary coming Wednesday Jan 29th, just ordered a gift online and she received today.
she was so excited and happy.
going to send cake and flower bouquet..to her office surprisingly with the help of friends..... :)

++++++++++++++++++ veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Ok. I assumed that both my husband and I will be notified of AOR ans approvals. Am I right? Or will I Just be notified of my sponsor stuff and he will get th PR stuff? I was thinking of ordering notes on the PR so far but maybe I can't? Thoughts?! :) thank you

Happy anniversary! Here's to the next one on Canadian soil!

I like this topic.
We are so lucky that we get to see each other every weekend. I'm super thankful he had family to move in with near the border during the process, as he's from Florida. So it's only long distance during the week and we talk on the phone every night. When we're together, we make sure to get one-on-one date time (we both live with other people). This weekend we're going to the Marlies' game in Toronto (the Maple Leafs' AHL team). I've told him if he wants me to pay attention to American college football, he has to start to love hockey. It's part of the citizenship exam, right? ;)

It is most probably Sponsorship Approval letter.

Shikaf, the people under this topic are sponsoring their spouses/are spouses being sponsored to Canada under the Family Class. I don't know how useful that is for a study permit question. It is a completely different application process.

you haven't been waiting for that long, you should have applied in advance because it could take upe to 6 months (?) for a study permit.

you will get notified of the sponsorship things and only he of the PR,
i think its a little too soon to ordering notes in my opinion xD, probably you can do it, but i dont think you would get a lot of info
