Rogerset,

You are right.

My understanding these CPC-M people created mess and are busy in clearing their mess in last few days, so they slowed down for issuing new SAs and sending pending files to VOs.

These call-centre people are useless. Different people give completely different information. If you call today to know your case and call tommorrow for same reason, you will get totally different replies. They will give you long and different time-line of their actions which make you upset and angry.

If you want any action from CPC-M on your case, then email them and they must act because that remains as record.

Hello
i am new to this forum , i am november applicant ,my case is , they ask for passport and landing fees on 17 of january , any body knows what the next step

Well - let me see,,they ask for your passport and landing fee.

so the next step would be-....hmmm...send the passport and landing fee.....right?

I'm thinking he/she means after he sends the passport and landing fee....You're so helpful rogerset.

Praphul- i did not understand your question

Now all you can do is wait ONCE u have sent your PP and fee.

You can also apply for GCMS notes. If you research on the New Delhi 2013 forum, there is plenty of information on how to apply for GCMS notes.

Hope this is helpful

Patrichan- Thanks for 'nudging' me, lol..

The call center people are useless. they dont even know what an AOR is. And when you call them, different people talk differnet things- some say it is 35 days from day you receive AOR, same say it is 35 BUSINESS days since App received, soem say 35 WORKIGN Days...they are absolutely useless, the least to say

35 business days=35 working days...On CIC website, if it does not say "xx calendar days"(like the PR card application), it is always referring to business/working days...

Hi Iris,

On the CIC website, it says processing times are calculated in calendar days.

All I can say, calendar or working days, we still gave to wait, patiently and just hope for us to receive the good news at the earliest...

Plus, when they say they are working on file received on Dec 18th does not necessary mean they have finished all the previous files....
For example, if there are 10 officers working on the applications, only one of them has made to the Dec 18th file and rest of them are still working on previous ones..They ARE WORKING on Dec 18th file, but maybe your case is a bit complex and they need more time...so, rogerset, please calm down..

OK...just saw that...then, if they said it is based on calendar days, it is calendar days...but I think my last post still stay true...maybe..I don't know...but please calm down..being angry is not going to help you going anywhere...

Rogerset,

Call right now the call-centre, they will definitely tell you it is business days and that will definitly makes you frustrated and angry. If you call tommorrow another repersentative will tell 45 business days. I bet.
