@ Miller: I'm trying to view the January spreadsheet, but it tells me I need to request access. Is this intentional or maybe you forgot to give access? Maybe we can update their thread with a link to the spreadsheet.

Btw, this is the link I'm using, not sure if it's the right one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmTrRjKDvHemdG1mRE5NMG1pSHBDQTRILVRtRXd5WFE&usp=sharing

Oops, I forgot to give you access. Send me a private message with your email address and I'll grant you access to edit the spreadsheet. Yup, that's the correct link to the January 2014 spreadsheet.

Whats the processing time for stage 2 for you? For me it's....wait for it...wait for it...22 whopping months!

Needless to say, I've already planned 2 trips to go see my husband. *sigh*

I've seen people get through in 6months...to 22 months (i.e people from 2013 getting through while there are folks from 2012 still waiting!)..there is no rhyme/reason to this process at all!

Whoa! Your wait time is very, very, very long. I thought my wait time of 15 months was long (that timeline is based on 80% of the applications completed, so it could be faster for us). The bright side is we are all in this together.

Like I said previously that I saw in ECAS on Jan 8 that 'Decision is made' on Sponsor side and CPC-M sent a letter on Jan 7 about that. But till today Jan 20 I did not get any letter. I called today CIC call centre and a Representative told me that they sent me an email on Jan 8 with Sponsorship approval, but I did not received any such email, even in my junk mail. But he looked and informed me that my Sponsorship was approved on Jan 7 and file was supposed to be transferred to Singapore Visa office within next 2/3 days from SA. When I requested them to resend the SA by email, he told me that 2nd time they can not send email, they can only send it by mail and it will reach me within 6 weeks. On the otherhand the Applicant side ' Medical Result received ' updated on Jan 11.

Should I be worried for SA letter and what I can do ?

I will highly appreciate if someone update the spreadsheet of my data to SA -- Jan 07, 2014.

Also there is a mistake in the spreadsheet with my data that shows that 'Ecas updated to Decision made - Jan 08, 2014' which should be deleted.

Congrats on finally hearing about your SA, Millertimez. I knew it could only be good news. Fingers crossed us Ottawa folks in this group are some of those 20 (6 months) -50 (9 months)% lucky ducks!

No need to worry as you have been approved for SA. Congrats! I'm sure the letter will follow, just give it some time. The mistake has been corrected.

After 10 days of speculating, I finally received my SA in the mail today dated January 10, 2014. :) I guess I got lucky for not including the two missing documents above. Phew!

Congrats to you! You got very lucky I'd say, and only 15 months to process ??? We can trade if you like ;) us Singapore folks are waiting 28 months :'(

Srkarthik, we are all in this together. even I have been waiting to hear from them and not a single email from them.

Hang in there buddy, we should hear from them anytime soon now. The update this Thursday should give us info on which applications they are working on and then you can decide if you want to call and check on the status.

I'm not trying to be demeaning, or stereotype your character as a person, but in general opinion, am trying reflect what and why it's so difficult for you.
About 8-10 years ago, there was an influx of younger people coming from Australia, as visitors, temporary work visas. They came mainly to BC, playing around Whistler area, or Vancouver Island, then trying to extend their stay, either applied or just went into hiding, not returning to Australia. They were working basic jobs at the ski resorts, tourist areas, many working under the table. When it was noted people weren't returning to OZ as legally required, and expected, they ended up heading east to the Banff Alberta area, and after awhile, immigration went on a 'hunt' for these people, found and deported 80+, an astounding sum of them. They were here basically hiding, with over extended privileges, which pretty well tarnished many others wanting to do the same in the future, but legally and honestly.
I understand with respect and compassion in your situation, and assume you are not one of this group, but coming here and then applying to stay, without having your ducks in a row before you left is too bad.
Question, have you ever gone back in the 3 years you've been here? It might be easier to fly back and get everything you need, then return and apply.

I never expected to immigrate. I planned on travel; met my boyfriend, fell in love and blah blah. I have always followed all rules. I have no criminal history in any country and I've never had a speeding ticket in any country. It's difficult when they don't seem to give you all the information. If I hadn't of found the forum I would have sent an incomplete file months ago. Working in remedying and putting this speed bump in the past.

P.S Never even been to Whistler, so I don't fit your profile.

Welcome to the group dylan26. You have been added to the spreadsheet.

Awesome! Thank you so much Millertimez! :)

All, just one note. Please don´t call CIC unless absolutely necessary. The more you keep calling the more resources need to be on the phone and less working on the applications. As you see from the vast majority of the calls there wasn´t any problem, it was matter of time to see your AOR or SA approval. Please be patient for everyone´s benefit.

my 2 cents

Amen to that, hope they get moved on, the anticipation is driving me nuts me hahaha :P

Thanks for the warm welcome! It is nice to be among others going through this as well....as not many people understand...and I get some weird comments from people! haha I think they are trying to be "helpful"...but man...their wording sucks! haha

Update for my spreadsheet: I thought the medical was done in November...was I ever wrong. Please change to July 2013. :O haha Does that mean they should have it by now at the embassy in Havana do you think?

Did anyone actually get the letter in the mail after the email notification? If so how long did it take? Its been 10 days for me and no letter in mail.

Another question...they mentioned somewhere (maybe on website) that they will send a Permanent Residency Card Kit to be given to the person I'm sponsoring...did anyone else see this or get this kit? Thanks guys! :)
