Yes, even i feel so,. however I shall be waiting couple of days more...as they say
" 33 days , and working on Dec 13th 2013 applications "
I need a File number too - as reference when i call up call centre.

Any suggestions from the forum would be appreciated.

your UCI is your PR Card number (found on your PR card -front). Just try logging into ECAS with your UCI number and see, perhaps maybe they did not bother sending you an email but did receive your app....

To Avadava and Patience both.
I don't have words for the kind of anger and frustration I'm feeling, if I could go around advertising that people never go somewhere again, it might be Australia. They are the kings of losing paperwork and not processing things properly, they've screwed me at least once each time I applied for a WHP and now my PR. I dont understand why they won't accept a complete check when all they need is a standard one, why be so $ @ &#ing retarded and make me get a whole new one?
I'm going to send a letter with my traffic request stating that I've lived here for 3 years now and have no valid Aus ID. I have to send these to a friend in Aus who can get Aus money orders for each application and mail it off. I hope she has a damned so she can get a copy of the application so I can send an email to CIC. And for traffic I have to go get my invalid ID certified so as if wasting $50 when I didn't have to wasn't enough how about we add another $40, not including the ridiculous postage fees to overnight everything from Can to Aus. Loving life and how much sense this all makes. Not. Yes, I'm bitter.

I'm not trying to be demeaning, or stereotype your character as a person, but in general opinion, am trying reflect what and why it's so difficult for you.
About 8-10 years ago, there was an influx of younger people coming from Australia, as visitors, temporary work visas. They came mainly to BC, playing around Whistler area, or Vancouver Island, then trying to extend their stay, either applied or just went into hiding, not returning to Australia.They were working basic jobs at the ski resorts, tourist areas,many working under the table.When it was noted people weren't returning to OZ as legally required, and expected, they ended up heading east to the Banff Alberta area, and after awhile, immigration went on a 'hunt' for these people, found and deported 80+, an astounding sum of them. They were here basically hiding, with over extended privileges, which pretty well tarnished many others wanting to do the same in the future, but legally and honestly.
I understand with respect and compassion in your situation, and assume you are not one of this group, but coming here and then applying to stay, without having your ducks in a row before you left is too bad.
Question, have you ever gone back in the 3 years you've been here? It might be easier to fly back and get everything you need, then return and apply.

I wouldn't assume something is wrong - just give them a call to calm your nerves. I called them about 5times and right after I got off the phone with them on the 14th where they told me they weren't working on my date I got my SA!

I'm not 100% excited due to the fact I did not include "Option C printout" and "Employment Letter" in my application. It could be that they are asking for those missing documents. I'll keep my figers crossed it's the SA.

After 10 days of speculating, I finally received my SA in the mail today dated January 10, 2014. I guess I got lucky for not including the two missing documents above. Phew!

To anyone in the panic , worry stage, not hearing back etc.
Understand that you send in the application, and over a month or so, you start seeing things happen on your update page/link.
It makes you feel all excited and fuzzy inside, thinking "It's going so FAST, Whoo Hoo!'
Be patient when you stop seeing things not change suddenly! They will work on it, and I wouldn't be badgering them with calls and emails every week, they can't tell you much. A basic email after a couple months, a few lines asking if everything is in order, might get you a reply of "Your application is being reviewed by an officer", and is enough to let you know they haven't lost it.
When they need, they will email/contact you for anything missing, or update your status.
You HAVE to be patient!
I just finished with my sponsorship of my wife in the US, it took a total of 13 months to get a COPR sent to her, with several months of nothing, as far as updates in there at times. Ours was basic, no issues, all in order and it's the process. Don't make plans in your head, assuming anything or any future dates, just go with it, patience is the answer.
It's exciting, but don't let the excitement make you frustrated and worried after some time.

Whats the processing time for stage 2 for you? For me it's....wait for it...wait for it...22 whopping months!

Needless to say, I've already planned 2 trips to go see my husband. *sigh*

I've seen people get through in 6months...to 22 months (i.e people from 2013 getting through while there are folks from 2012 still waiting!)..there is no rhyme/reason to this process at all!

@Canadianwifey: my VO is at 13 months at the moment, but....there are applicants from 2012 that haven't got their PR yet. Just one applicant in 2013, rest are still waiting. Some are going on 20+ months now. Scares me thinking I might be waiting more than 13 months.

@Karthik: when I applied, the processing times were at 28 days. My SA took 34 days and I didn't get any AOR either. In fact, my AOR came 1 hour after the SA. I didn't call them to ask them what was going on, the call center operators don't really know for sure what file the officers are working on. Hang in there, I'm sure you will hear something soon.
