I'm not 100% excited due to the fact I did not include "Option C printout" and "Employment Letter" in my application. It could be that they are asking for those missing documents. I'll keep my figers crossed it's the SA.

Fingers crossed for you Millertimez!!!

Oh! yeah we are rooting for you. Do you have any of those documents now in case they ask?

I'm just waiting for the employment letter which I should get next week. Now I'm thinking that I shouldn't have listened to my friend who advised those documents weren't required when he sponsored his wife last year. Instead, I just included Notice of Assessment which I hope will be enough.

Thank you ladies. Just hoping for SA approval at this point. ;D

Oh man.... This is worrying me too now...i didnt submit employment letter just notice of assesment and photocopies of few pay stubs ...
Hopefully ill be approved :(

My husband didn't submit Proof of employment either. What we sent was:

1. Pay stubs for the year 2012 and 2013 (excluding the month of November and December 2013 cause he didn't have those when we sent the application in)
2. A printout C from the year 2006 (which was the last year he filed taxes in Canada - he's been working in Germany for the past 6 years)
3. Letter explaining the absence of those documents.
None of these was what CIC asked, but he got approved.

One thing I read here on the forum a while ago, is when the sponsor is living outside Canada, they don't really care about Proof of employment or the Printout C. So maybe that's why we got lucky.

Completely understood - there is a lot of gray areas with immigration because things in life just aren't black and white!

Hoping for the best for all of us!

I just hope today is the day for all of us who are waiting to hear from CPC-M... :'(

Agreed - sigh!
come on CPC-M!!! Gah...I've been checking my e-cas / email every hour :(

Ugh, when it's down to the wire like this, people get crazy. Just think though guys, sometime last year waiting times has increased astronomically for stage 1 to like 60+ days. I can't even imagine how people were feeling.

We have to hear something! It can't be quiet for a whole day. Miller is going to get his SA along with all of you lovlies waiting. AORs are also going to pour in like a burst pipe.

That's good news! You receiving an AOR means that your file has been forwarded to your respective VO abroad for processing your application!!!

Upon further meticulous scrutiny of this second AOR email they are ALMOST a identical but the mailing address listed or my boyfriend (sponsor) is a Canadian one and mine has the Consulate General for Sydney, Aus address on it. I'm hoping your right!!

Benjis, I'm confused. You got stage 1 AOR and Stage 2 AOR and no SA???

Join me in my confusion! Haha. Sent file Nov 29. Got AOR from Mississauga Dec 28 stating they recieved our file Dec 3. Then yesterday I recieved my own AoR seemingly from Sydney. We check my boys email a few times a day and he hasn't gotten anything since the original AoR so maybe we are getting SA via snail mail for some reason?

Wow, but you got your AORs via email??!?! :o This process is just too much...... lol Nobody is the same!
