That's good news! You receiving an AOR means that your file has been forwarded to your respective VO abroad for processing your application!!!

That is pretty long time to be waiting. Was there something wrong with your application?

Absolutely nothing wrong with the application... just the unfortunate luck of having Singapore as our visa office
We are hoping this will be the month we get PPR

I checked ECAS this morning and says Decision Made.

"We sent you a letter on January 10, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us".

I guess I'll find out in few days if I have been approved to sponsor.

Amazing!! There are a few of you who ecas has updated before receiving a letter...hmmmm I should keep checking ecas - in any case, they probably won't be on Dec 11th until about Thursday/Friday.

If they sent it on the 10th Mapleleaf may be right. I wonder how long it takes for the file transfer? I mean for Ottawa it's Canada to Canada.

But why did they not send you an email?!?! I thought you got AOR via email

I'm not 100% excited due to the fact I did not include "Option C printout" and "Employment Letter" in my application. It could be that they are asking for those missing documents. I'll keep my figers crossed it's the SA.
