It really is..sigh! I will be going to see my hubby for 10 days in 56days..so I have something to look forward to.

I feel like if I don't have definite trips in the upcoming months, I start feeling really down. I ALWAYS need something to look toward to or else it just seems like a never ending abyss.....

I can totally relate to you!! I am trying to convince my husband to plan a holiday soon so we can see each other.

There is Skype/Gtalk, etc but it's just not the same. My husband sent flowers for Valentine's Day and I so wished the guy could deliver the sender of the flowers too!! :-[

Yes, we celebrated Valentine's Day together last year before he left for Canada and hope we can celebrate next year's V Day together too!

Hi Wifey,

it's just another week for me, another week for CIC to chug away with the aplications!! In some weird way, my 'Sunday blues' are not as strong as before because I know that during the week is the only time for movement in this immigration process. So I look at it like 1 more week to get closer to the end!

That's the one good thing about this process 8)

I know the VOs take some Canadian holidays, but not sure which ones. Maybe it depends on which VO? Mine is Ottawa, so I'm sure they are off today.

As much as I would like to be off today, Family Day only applies to provincial employees. I assume my fellow Federal Employees at CIC are hard at work today, well...except me.

Never knew this! I'm in Quebec so we don't even have Family day

I agree. Canada Post is working today, so I would think CIC employees have to work as well. An extra day working on applications is always a good thing!
