Greetings

Since my kids' applications seem to have stalled while others in Montreal are being processed, I ordered ATIP notes. The notes were pretty straightforward, no questions, no red flags. It seems strange since the minor grant applications with a Canadian parent are really, really simple.

Yes. Test was in Scarborough. At the end of the interview the officer had also mentioned that she is satisfied with all documents and oath letter would come in 2 to 6 weeks

What other useful info in addition to Border Service Agency notes can I order that could help me with my case?

Ordering the notes is pretty much the only thing you can do at this point in time. MPs won't usually help you unless you are past the normal processing time for 80% of the cases (24 months last time I looked, so as December 2013 applicants we're not even close). Ordering the notes can tell you if there's some issue that is causing a delay, or if they sent you a communication that you did not receive and they are waiting for a response from you.

Agree, Moreover Note that when you order ATIP, it won't include details about the time since you sent the request which is 30 day most cases, to the day you receive it , so sending a second request won't hurt, maybe during that time something was done.

Good luck!

Hi All -

Sorry, just realized that I hadn't provided an update in some time.

My husband got RQ (which we expected since he's an independent consultant and travels quite a bit for work). We submitted the completed RQ about a month ago and received the oath letter a few days ago. My husband will be taking the oath on December 20th.

I will update the spreadsheet...

Oh - and just to add, my husband's file was processed through Scarborough.

Hey, Scylla, was it a "full" RQ? I assume it was a post-test RQ, right?
I'm not sure how to answer that question because my husband didn't have to write the test. He's quite a bit older than I am and was able to skip the test because of his age.

He receive a letter to come to Scarborough in person to have his documents verified (this was the test letter but he didn't have to take the test). He received the RQ on the spot right after the officer looked through his passport. In other words, when he returned from his visit to the Scarborough office, he had the RQ piece of paper in his hand.

Hope this answers your question...
