Has anyone received a reply after PPR email about the visa office change to their current residence country other than canada?

I have sent mail to arrange stamping at different office than canada but haven't received anything since last 5 days.

Guys i got my PPR mail from my lawyer today. looks likle CIC sent the mail on 27th only. I have a query where my wife is in India. Shall i notify CIC first and then send my passport to Otawa after getting a reply from them or send my passport and mean while communicate to them about my wife's request to get her visa stamped at new Delhi ?

Hi

If you have a lawyer is it not down to them to advise CIC, I would expect you signed a use of representative form so they could file on your behalf.

Thx

The worst part is my lawyer is not responding at all to my mails nor available on phone. So i decided to go to their office and discuss this matter. My request to lawyer is please send the mail informing about wife being in India and 2nd query is can i send my passport to Ottawa right away so that i can get back the passport within Dec 1st as i am travelling to India as well.......Hope nothing gets messed up after such great PPR news

Hi gurindar. Did yr return tracker activated yet or not and can u plz tell me pp wAs received by which name at Ottawa I just want to confirm it

I have given my lawyer my new passport way back and told him to forward it to the CIC but he said we will forward upon the request. Now I have to satisfy with the new passport copy request only. If it was me then I could have forwarded the information way before and could have received the PPR request by now.

That is the worst part when you depend upon someone. I hope I see the PPR soon.

Hi

Is this lawyer reputable?

One of the earlier posts does say the instructions from CIC are clear. If you need to make alternative arrange, wants for visa processing you are to notify them. It's not a problem but you need to let them know.

The problem is when you signed the use of representative form all correspondence will go direct to your lawyer. If you go into your ECAS you will see the correspondence address, I think you can change this within ECAS.

Thx

Me too....Looks like we need to make another list for waiting for CIC to confirm the stamping status outside Canada :)
