I don't want to get anyone's hopes up prematurely, but isn't tuesday evening (going on previous accounts of late), generally a time when a round of progress updates get sent out? I think I read that somewhere recently. I'm still waiting for CoPR after "medicals received" for like 5 weeks now. So close yet so far...

Fingers crossed we get a flood of awesome replies to this thread saying that people are starting to progress and getting their status updated today/tonight!

Normally, but I suspect that may not happen, given that yesterday was a holiday.

yeah, I thought about that too. The only thing would be that if they stock pile a bunch of updates weekly, and then just release them all on a Tuesday night? Hopefully there is stuff from BEFORE the long weekend ready to be released on to us. One can hope...

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can recall the no. of applications received by 20 Dec 2013 under CEC. I wanted to apply by mid Dec (as I will gain 1 year work experience by Dec 15) and worried if the cap will remain open. As of today, 3586 applications are received out of 8000.

^It was a different cap back then. It restarted Nov 2013(?), so whatever level it was on Dec 2013 will of course be lower than what it will be on Dec 2014.
By contrast, the cap you are tracking started May 2014.

Hi Seniors. Please need advise


My wife is in India and need to get her PPR stamped for her once i get my PPR. My questions are do we need to inform in mail to CIC about sending wife's passport to New Delhi and when do you send the passport to Newdelhi. Is it through VFS or just sent it to the canada embassy in Delhi. How long does it take to get back your Passport from Otawa and from newdelhi

Looks like only one got PPR last night in CEC, at least according to this forum. Usually it runs in batches right? anyone else got PPR? please share...
